I started it yesterday. Only read three chapters, but it's very promising, seems to be an interesting read.
I'm settling into it. The prologue was weird, but I'm sure it will make more sense as I gather context and get used to the style of this storytelling.
The storytelling style reminds me of When Fox is a Thousand and Space Invaders, which I both loved, so I am very positive about this.
And every time there's a passage in Maori, I am trying to remember the pronounciation lessons I picked up in NZ, to pronounce the words correctly in my head, but... well, it was some time ago.

I'm about 60% done and am very intrigued by this book! The writing style doesn't grip me as much as in the books I mentioned above, but I am very interested in the story and I like how it is told.
I am having a hard time getting into this book; it's weirder than I was expecting. The early narrative doesn't match the book description, so I just need to recalibrate my expectations.
I'm hoping to spend more time on it this weekend. Right now I'm kind of a bad book buddy.

I think I'm going to have to wait and prioritize this @ the top of May so I can finish this month's reading challenges. I eye-read a lot slower than audio, so my slow start has made this a task.
