It's really pretty and super comfortable to read. Plus, it looks good on my bookshelf cause I just realized that most of my books have darker colors 🤣

I'm trying to grasp how this works too like they maintain most of their powers, but now are mortal therefore can be killed?
Yes, I'm thinking too that they can retain their powers but just need food and feel and are possible to kill. Like a superhero lol.
And about Chiron, lol yes; it was so obvious whose room it must be since she didn't miss out on how Chiron always followed Castor.

i agree with everyone's thoughts about how cool and badass Lore is, she seems pretty great and will definitely become one of my favourite heroines if she keeps kicking ass like this! though yes, she doesn't seem to be a genius, i guessed that it was Castor's room as soon as she entered. ah well, nobody's perfect.
i also find myself constantly trying to remember which bloodline relates to which god, it can be pretty confusing! and i agree with Aqsa, the bond between Lore and Athena really does remind me of the unbreakable vow from Harry Potter😂. hopefully i get the hang of each of the bloodlines etc soon....
yes, it will be interesting to learn about how Castor killed Apollo. and i admire Castor's attempts to change the house of Achilles (that's his house, yeah?) but if he's too radical then they'll all just rebel and overthrow him.... he has to be more careful.
also Miles seems like a cutie, but i think it was a bit dumb of Lore to bring him into it all. he is seriously underprepared and will probably die, which will be a bit heartbreaking....
hopefully i can read the next set soon!

- [ ] That boy got what he deserved
- [ ] I am interested in why the gods would want to kill her bloodline if they found out about her
Ch 2
- [ ] I wonder what Castor wants
Ch 3
- [ ] That must be Athena, I wonder how she was able to survive so long and be the only original goddess left
Ch 4
- [ ] Oh man Athena’s sister tried to kill her?!
- [ ] And now she knows who killed Lore’s family
- [ ] I wonder what she means about binding her life to Lore’s
- [ ] Also bless Miles’ soul for wanting to help her wounds with aspirin!
Ch 5
- [ ] Oh my, they are bonded as it seems pretty serious
- [ ] But why is he called the Fake god?
- [ ] Also Miles is going to have to take a lot in now
Ch 6
- [ ] How awful! They didn’t allow women to fight during the Agon?!
- [ ] Ahh, that is what the fake Ares wants? The last part of the poem? Of how to get absolute control?
- [ ] Miles took the story surprisingly well

- [ ] I am touched and yet horrified at their first time that Castor and Lore met

- [ ] But how did Castor become the new Apollo? It doesn’t add up, plus they could still kill him for his position as the Agon only just started
- [ ] Now Hermes is dead and fake Ares, Wrath is on the move. Wrath is the one who murdered Lore’s family right?

Castor seems weird to me right now, like how in the world did he become Apollo? Hopefully he can be better for his house

Yes I agree! I am confusing myself all the time haha and since I am reading the ebook, it is a little annoying to flick through to the first page, not as easy if it was physical copy so I am hoping the more I read the more easier it will get to remember all the names and houses haha !
I also like Miles but I hope he doesn’t die :/ he seems like a genuine friend and Lore looks like she needs more like him

OMG YES. I thought the same, like are we actually not talking about the brutality the Agon holds?? Is it really smart to let a normal human take part?

Yeah, at this point the book is very focused on showing how the women are basically for reproduction and chase (because they are not allowed to kill the Gods and take their powers)!

Right?! I hate how they are depicted! And it is unfair that only mortal males are allowed to gain immortality, like there are goddesses and yet women can’t fight for it. So strange

And I agree, I'm loving Athena and her comments lol, especially with Miles. Yes, but idk why Wrath feels more annoying than fearsome for some reason lol.
About Wrath, yeah he seems to have so many of his powers and I thought that was quite powerful what he did especially in such a state. Was he really near to this place or not even that?
Yes, it's understandable about Phillip though I don't think he'd work for Wrath considering how he acted.
Yes, everyone is curious about how that kid killed the God. Maybe someone else was also involved in this?
