"I just end up right at the start of the line drawin' circles"
Circles is a posthumous album by Mac Miller released in 2020 that shows Mac Miller's view on life and where he was heading. The songs were recorded before he passed away, but released a year after and shows his mindset at the time he passed.
His songs in this album are just powerful. Not as powerful as Swimming, but still they reach parts of your soul that aren't normally reachable. He discusses how he feels like his life is just going in Circles and not really leading up to anything bigger and better, and it's just a sad outlook on life that he portrayed through his music.
I think listening to Swimming, then Circles back to back would provide for the a really good listen as they're both covering similar topics and together it makes for something people can learn from.
It's one of my favorite albums and truly it sucks that Mac Miller is gone from this world, because his albums are all amazing. His songs are all so simple, yet the emotion that they make you feel is on another level. I'd rate this album a 9/10.
