Maya I just finished the belgariad yesterday and it was really good. I would definitely suggest if you’re into epic fantasy

message 63: by Chiara (new)

Chiara Reiser | 1 comments Hi guys,
I am new here and I was just wondering if someone would like to be my „reading partner“? Maybe to set goals together, get into discussions about already read books and to agree on a book to read in a certain amount of time. I hope this would motivate me to read more.

So if anybody is interested, I would be glad to hear from you :)

message 65: by Harshada (new)

Harshada Jaiganesh | 8 comments There are so many people on the book reviewing section of Goodreads who say " Reviewing an Arc " .

When I did further research on what that meant...I got to know that it meant " Advanced Readers copy "

Does anybody know how I get get one? 😭💗

Ok, so as the author of Legal Crime I learnt that an ARC is a book copy that you get sometimes via the author, via the publisher or via sites like NetGalley.

You usually have a better chance of getting an ARC if you're a blogger/bookstagrammer etc. but sometimes you could contact the author for ARCs (see their website) or join NetGalley and try your luck.

It's better if you have contact with the PR unit of a publishing house as a blogger or something though xD

Hope I helped!

message 67: by Maya (new)

message 68: by Harshada (new)

Oh, really? Well, you could try other sites like Booksprouts? Or perhaps sign up to author newsletters for news on upcoming novels and offer to review it in exchange for an ARC?

Harshada Jaiganesh | 8 comments Bonnie wrote: "I don’t think anyone abides by the 18+ limit… I know plenty of people including myself who are younger than that who use it!"

WAIT WHAT 👀😲

😅 I am not brave enough to do that- Netgalley will probably ban me and not let me back even after I turn 18 😂

message 88: by [deleted user] (new)

what is it

Harshada Jaiganesh | 8 comments bernadette;) wrote: "whats that?"

It is an website that give people free books in exchange for an honest review about the book. You cant post the review on goodread or amazon ..I think-

:( But only 18+ allowed so I'm sad-

But Booksirens is 13+ so I am allowed to go there.
but Booksirens only has digital books :( not physical books like Netgalley.

*sigh*

**My mind rn : STOP IT! Why are you worrying about reading books when you know who will be busy with a bucket load of homework in a few months? Shouldn't you be focusing on that?!**

message 90: by [deleted user] (new)

oh lol

message 91: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie (thedaylightreader) | 26 comments You can’t get physical arcs from NetGalley either

message 92: by Bonnie (new)

Bonnie (thedaylightreader) | 26 comments And you can post the review anywhere! Goodreads, Amazon, a blog. Anywhere online is acceptable!
