could it be Angel of Darkness by Lynne Graham?
Because of this inquiry, I just read this on open library and really enjoyed it...I enjoy Lynne Graham however.
Looking for a historical romance. H is a rake and wants to seduce the h. She refuses him for a long time but later thinks that they are engaged and lets him. Only afterwards she realizes that he was only saying to give the greatest pleasure. H thinks that h is engaged and gets angry and confronts h. She says they are engaged then he clears the misunderstanding. She leaves in tears. This is a part of a series and another story also has similar theme.
Hope that someone can remember the title.

It is a romance book where the heroine is a model and her mother is going to remarry one of her ex husband whom she divorced previously. The heroine's carrer is suffering because her boyfriend cheated with her while being married and the heroine came to know after her ex boyfriend tried to commit suicide to gain sympathy from his wife. The ex boyfriend ' s wife made a public scene of accusing the heroine. The same day night her stepbrother i.e., son of her mothers future husband visits her apartment to threaten her not to interfere in their parents marriage. The step brother is the hero and it seems there is some disturbance between them.
This is probably a mills & boon or hareliquinn romance book but I can't seem to remember it's name. Please help me.
