Personally, I don't read several books at once, . I prefer reading one by one, and I have actually noticed, that usually when I read many books at once, I get into a reading slump... But how about you?

It depends. If I have a book I am reading and then I get a better book I read them at the same time but mostly I read one at a time
I don't like reading more then one book at a time, but it happens, cause I have moods and when I'm not interested in a book, I start another one, and then on
I always do because I enjoy having different books for different moods. I never mix up storylines or forget where I was in a book, so...
I assume it's part of why I've never been in a reading slump as of yet - only cases of post-book blues ;-)

I gravitate toward reading one book at a time but if I'm taking an English class for school, I'll read the school book and a book for fun at the same time

How do you all read more than one book at once? If I read even two at a time I get confused between them and forget what's happening in each of them

Yeah and if the plots aren't markedly different I'll probably be mixing them up too
I always read multiple books at once but I only read ones with really different characters and settings so that I don't mix them up. Like I'll read a fantasy and a contemporary at the same time, but not two sci-fis together.

Same :)
I usually just read one at a time. Sometimes if they’re close in storyline I almost mix up the plots, like once I was reading two books both with Emily’s, and I kept getting their stories mixed. The only time I’ll do it once in a while is if I’m reading a really good book but I’m assigned one at school
