Right away I figured that Agent Dunbar had heard about Lucy while she was working in DC and going through training at Quantico. He had made up his mind about Lucy and he wasn't about to change it.
Lucy made quite a reputation in the DC office and lots of people are aware of her special relationships with people in power. She has access no other rookie, or seasoned agent for that matter, has. I'm not surprised Dunbar was so hostile. Lucy handled him quite well I thought.
I can understand Dunbar’s resentment but his lack of professionalism was unacceptable. I’m sure everyone in the Washington office has gossiped about her connections and should be suspect of them. But in that same breath they should also be looking at what’s she’s accomplished. If I were in their shoes, I’d be wary of her. But to be outright hostile? He was out of line.
I figured it had something to do with her connections, but his attitude made it seem like it was more personal. Lucy didn't seem to know him, so I'm not real sure.I agree, Jonetta.
