For some reason, I figured that Ryan would be the one who wouldn't forgive Lucy for what she did. I think Juan will eventually begin to trust Lucy once again. Right now he is testing her to see if she is going to do her own thing again.
Juan was disappointed at what Lucy did and that she didn't trust him enough to tell him what really happened. He has adopted a wait and see attitude toward her.
Lucy has a LONG road to hoe to regain the relationship she’d created with Juan. He’s still discovering the extent of her breach of trust so she hasn’t even reached the starting point. I’ll give him credit, though. Juan knows her skills and respects them. He is objective in his decision making about her.
I think they will regain their friendship, but I think their work relationship will always have that tension and mistrust in it.
I don't think after the Mexico deed that their relationship will ever be the same, but I think it will mature as the people regain each other's trust.
Lucy is on very thin ice with Juan. It is difficult to get back on track with a boss once you are caught in a lie. Add to that, her past history of going over the line, Lucy is going to need to work hard to get Juan to trust her again. I don't expect the relationship to ever be the same, but Juan is a professional and will use Lucy's skills.
