I'm dying to know how this series is going to end. I'm definitely going to join this Buddy Read. I'm not sure though that I'll be able to start exactly on the tenth. I'll know more when I get closer.

Chapter 1:

(view spoiler)[I feel so bad for Adrian and Sydney. I didn't realize they would get harassed by vampires too. I knew the alchemists would be against the marriage but I thought the vampires were more progressive but I guess not. It definitely adds conflict and makes things interesting. (hide spoiler)]

I forgot about another buddy read so started that book today and will be starting this book either tomorrow or Saturday!

I am! Actually, I did, because I just finished it! lol It wasn't my favorite book in the series, and certain things made me mad, but it was very entertaining!!

Cracking up she turned into a cat to leave the safety of the court. So glad her sister didn't turn her in. I can't imagine the guilt she must feel... (and glad she is able to feel guilty!)

I agree Kristin, I found it very difficult to put down!! The storyline just flowed very well and I found myself reading going through it faster than planned.

(view spoiler)[I liked the book, it has some cute moments with Sydney and Adrian, but I loved that Rose and Dimitri was a part of this book as well. It also seemed to me with the ending, if she wanted, she could do another spin off on Declan - the baby, and how he'd come to fare in the future. (hide spoiler)]

I think that was the best part for me as well (view spoiler)[I loved seeing more than just a glimpse of Rose & Dimitri! I'm so glad she actually put them in the action and they got to work with Sydney and Adrian (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Oh my ... i never thought there would be any ending I would like... but I did like this ending. I was crying so hard as Olive died and some other times for Declan and Neil. The letter was so ... I don't even have words for that. Sydney got everything she hoped for and I bet in all the time she wished to go to the university (especially when she was still with the alchemists) she never thought it would happen by the help of Morois. ;) I was really surprised by the acknowledgment. There WILL be more. I was so sure about 'this is the last one'. But I'll love that. I don't think it will be about Jill and Eddie. They where to present in Bloodlines. Maybe something new. Maybe Mia or someone from the squad. Or another child from dhampirs which was hidden and is older? Or just a mixed book about sydney and rose? That would be like a ribbon to bost parts of the serie. But it must be something near Sydrain. So we could see more about the little master ;) and his dad... I really need more of them. I want them happy. I really hope Richelle isn't going to wait for ... 2030 or so, when Duncan could be old enough to be the main character, but he should be older. There is a conflict coming about telling him of Neil and Olive... Maybe they rise him with dream-meeting with his father? But then Adrian had to scip the pils again ... so I don't think so. Questions over questions... but I can live with that... We all have to, right...? (hide spoiler)]

I've under 100 pages left to finish now.

I read reviews that some people didn't like the narrative from both Adrian & Sydney but personally I don't mind this. It's not taking away from the story for me, and unlike another book I read recently isn't repetitive.

(view spoiler)[I did wish there was some way that Neil could have kept Declan. But I liked how it worked out. I'm glad that the Alchemists agreed to give an amnesty to Sydney & Adrian. I'm sad this series is over though :o(

I hadn't heard that there will be more - so happy to read that Rose! I'm wondering if it might involve Rose & Dimitri, maybe if they finally get married, and the potential for them to have a kid... how the vampire world would react to that etc. Or perhaps something to do with Declan. (hide spoiler)]
