Skye stumbled through the door, She'd made it. She held her right arm which was worse for wear because she used it more then her left when she'd used her powers, though her left was in bad shape too. The bones in her right arm were broken while the bones in the left were near fractured, and both were covered in bruises. She knew she couldn't go to a hospital because they'd do blood tests and she remembered Fitz saying that her blood was radically different from that of a normal human.

Skye looked up and smiled thankfully at Cali. "Used my powers too much escaping Hydra, " She told the other girl

“Woah! Holy crap blood!!!” Mien said running over with a small sparkle in her eyes. This is on of the reasons people though she was insane.

Mien looked at Skye “Hydra did this to you?” Mien asked thoughtful, she had never really come into contact with them. She had two things on her mind. 1) how powerful were they?
2) would they be a fun challenge or would fighting them be boring?

"Some of these they did. But most of the broken bones are from me Overusing my powers on my escape. There was a girl I rescued. We went our separate ways after we got out." Skye said relaxing as she was being healed. "Hi." She said smiling at Mien. She saw the look on the other girl's face. "You don't want to Fight Hydra, that's a bad idea." She said shaking her head.

Mien pouted slightly. "Oh come on! I wanna fight someone! I want a challenge! This game is no fun if there's not a chance I'll lose! Gah! I hate being held baaaaaaack!" Mien complained.

"Life isn't a game. If you don't want to listen to good advice go ahead. But if you do I'm not going after you." Skye said to Mien.
Mien shrugged and tossed her pink hair. She thought for a moment, her mind slowly spiraling, despite her calm appearance. Life... isn’t a game...?
Then what the hell is it?
No, that’s not right, they taught me....
But they’re gone, so now what?
Life is a game! Life is just a game, I’m just a pawn! There’s nothing more nothing less! Life is... is... is...?
Mien spun around and walked back into the kitchen, snatching up her soda. The sides crushed in slightly by her tight grip and soda spilled on the counter. She growled slightly and grabbed a towel and wiping it up. There was something unreadable in her eyes as she silently cleaned up her mess.

Mien let out a sigh. “Jeez calm down.” She mutters to herself. She then looked at Cali. “Is that one gonna be alright.” She asked, nodding towards Skye

Mien tilted her head. "Really?"
Mod
"Yeah but, they don't let you do anything but heal others?" Mien asked dumbfounded by the idea.

"That does not sound like fun." Mien says. "How do you live like this?" Mien questions

“Okay, how big of a threat is HYDRA anyway? I feel like I’m out of the loop or something.” Mien says leaning against the counter.

“Really? Huh.” Mien says
"Hydra's a massive threat. They've killed more then their fair share of S.H.I.E.L.D Agents. They've tortured more then that. They go after innocent people." Skye said looking at the girl who just didn't seem to get it. Though she'd be patient with her. "They tortured my mother, experimented on her because she had abilities that were different than those of a human." Skye told her.
“Okay so it’s just a group of powerful people. Man, I wanna fight one!” Mien says with a devilish smile.

“... Yeah, I highly doubt they are any worse then...” F**k, she hadn’t meant to say that. Memories rushed back and she closed her eyes, desperate to fight them off. Nope too late for that. (view spoiler)
Without warning Mien slammed her hand down on the counter, forcing herself out of the memories. stop it! Get out of your head! Her body trembled and her heart was going a million miles per hour.

Mien squeezes her eyes shut, trying desperately to calm down. Mien, conceal your emotions. Don’t feel them, and most of all, don’t let them show. You do that, and Boss will never promote you, and you wanna fight with me, don’t you? Lillie’s voice echoed in Mien’s ears, the warmth she gave off.
“Why did you have to die?” Mien whispers, her hand now clenched in a fist on the counter. “Why did you leave me?” Mien kept her eyes closed, desperate not to cry. She didn’t show weakness, that wasn’t her thing. Lillie was only person who had ever seen her cry. She wasn’t about to let anyone else think she was weak. Her body continued to tremble as she ducked her head.

Mien couldn’t move, she couldn’t breathe. A haze seemed to grow up around her, her vision was clouded by Lillie’s face. Her smiling, her laugh. Her best friend, was gone, and Mien was never gonna let anyone close to her again, no never again. (view spoiler) -Lillie
“We live a rough life Mies, so, if I ever die, I want you to live your life, don’t push people away, just relax and be yourself.” Lillie’s voice echoed.
Mien sucked in a breath, then leaned into Cali. She didn’t care if she seemed weak, because in reality, she probably was.

After a moment more Mien finally spoke. “S-sorry.” Mien said quietly. “Emotions aren’t my thing.” She sucked in a shaky breath and opened her eyes when she was finally certain she wouldn’t cry.

Mien let out a shaky laugh. “That bad Huh?” She giggled slightly, her cheeks were a light color of pink as she smiled.
