Do you alternate between multiple books at a time? If yes, how many and what are your reasons for doing so?

BiBookDemon Sometimes. I usually do it if the books start off too slow, or I need a break from a book. I am currently alternating for a different reason though. Buddy read! So much fun! Anyways, my alternating usually involves 2 books, but sometimes it will involve 3.

Yeah, definitely agree with you, a book with a slow start usually sets us on finding another.

Shawna Finnigan (sugoishawn) | 945 comments Sometimes I do but not too often. Rotating between books slows down how many books I finish and how quickly I finish them so it's not as satisfying to me

Erica | 1309 comments Well let's see... I've completed 5 or 6 books since I started reading Dune. I'm enjoying Dune but there are shiny library books with deadlines.

toointofiction | 186 comments I don't really like doing that. I find it confusing and it really slows me down. When I read a book I need to finish it before starting another one and if i I can't finish it (for whatever reason), I just stop reading it and start something else. I will, however, re-start a book I couldn't finish another time (like giving them another chance before I say I didn't like them).

Unknown Reader | 180 comments I don’t do that because I can’t. I have a very one track mind. I would like to though

Lisette (illusie) | 1284 comments No, I prefer to read 1 book at a time. I usually want to know what happens next and don't want to read something else.

Nathan (nathan-93) I alternate between way too many books. I find some parts boring or mood swings, I pick up a different book each time.
