This has been fun! Great work team!

But we do have 18 wildcards that could be used, if necessary! LOL
I have so enjoyed reading some of these shorter books for these past two weeks, and getting to know all of you a bit better!
Thank you for pulling together and achieving such success! πππππππ§¨π§¨β¨β¨
I will check tomorrow morning and post our final two-week results! :)

We are officially down to just 8 prompts remaining!!! Oh, my goodness! I wasn't sure we could get this close without using any wild cards!! WE ARE SO GOOD AT..."
Hehehehehe..... love it! I am keeping that title.. :D :D

Great work team!

Hi Team Leader/Assistant, once all the members of your team have recorded their final page counts and audio hours, please update your final progress in the Readathon Team Progress thread. If your team was unable to complete all the primary 50 tasks, use your earned wild cards to fulfil the pending prompts.
Drop a new comment in the progress thread to let me know that you've shared your final progress. Also, note that this will be your final update so double-check before sharing your progress.
Thank you!

'Ack! I doubt I could have done any reading if I had had company during these two weeks!
Did you record the pages and hours on our tracking spreasheet?
I just want to make sure before I submit our final tallies! :)

I meant to ask, how are you liking it? I loved that book. I also watched the movie and thought it was a good representation of the book.

I'm going to assume you already recorded this in the tracking spreadsheet, Jennifer!
If I am wrong, please correct me and I can always adjust those final numbers accordingly! :)

This Fellowship of the R(ead)ing team proved that we do indeed LOVE to read!!! π
I can't thank you-all enough for all the time you spent helping fulfill these prompts!
I trust that you enjoyed the reading you completed for this event!

(Stop cheering! LOL)
This is the first team readathon in which I have participated...ever! How about you? Your first? Or did you have prior experience? π
I learned a lot!
(1) As much as possible, try to select relatively short books (at least 100 pages in length) to fulfill prompts. (I included two that were longer because they were already planned for Buddy Reads,)
(2) Once a team member commits to reading a specific book for a specific prompt, enter that into the "tracking" spreadsheet.
(3) On the "tracking" spreadsheet, select one color for "committed reads" and another color for "completed prompts" so you can easily see which prompts lack a committed book and which are already completed.
(4) Keep the "planning" spreadsheet for a place to list every prompt each book could possibly fulfill.
(5) Be flexible! In the future my preparatory goal will be selecting a shorter book for each prompt that I know would be accessible for me to read, whether available from the library or a book owned or whatever... Then I will be ready to help out where needed, time permitting!
Did you learn any tricks or strategies to employ for similar events in the future?

(Stop cheering! LOL)

This was my first ever readathon, signed up to read 2-3 books, and did soo much better then I'd planned.
It was great, had so much fun.

You were such a huge help with filling in prompts! Hopefully there will be another of these in the not-too-far-off future! :)

I have done a few Readathons in the ATY group. The very first one I did, I read sooo many more books than my usual during that month. This time, I didn't read a ton more than I would have. Work and baby were a bit of a time-suck.
The other issue I had was I was trying to finish buddy/group/book club books, so I couldn't purposely find and read a ton of shortish books like I had done in other group readathons.
But, I had fun and this was an awesome team! And I did read a few more than I originally thought I would. Yay!

You're very kind. Just flying by the seat of my pants and trying to help us succeed! :) I was quite thrilled that we only had to use 3 wild cards to reach the 50 prompts!

Well, definitely a different time for you with many more responsibilities! A baby. They are so much fun! And work! :)

You and me both! Now I know why oshizu had pointed out that she had finished all her Buddy Reads before the readathon began. I suspect she may have more time than I do to organize and facilitate her reading, but that would definitely be my goal for another readathon, get those longer books read beforehand...

Yep! Same here!!
