Whoo! Whoo! Way to go, Pamela!

I kinda figured it was one I could overlook for now... :) Too many other books I really really really want to read! LOL

**Read 8,211 pages
**Listened to 70.74 hours of audiobooks
**Completed 33 prompts
**Earned 13 Wild Cards
I am so proud!!
🎈🎈🎉🎉🎇🎇🎆🎆🎆
I had pledged to read two books during these two weeks, just in case, but have been able to read many more than that.
I am really enjoying getting to know you-all better and tracking our progress!

Exactly! Once we figure out the characters and their place in the plot, all their connections and secrets made this such an interesting thriller read!

4 book series prompt completed
Are there another books you can recommend that would help with a prompt?

That is wonderful, Manni!! YAY!!

That's great, Pamela! YAY YOU!
I just finished Magpie Murders and I'm headed to bed! I'll check on this in the morning!!

On a high note, we have done fantastic so far! I am pretty confident we can get all the tasks done.

I’m not sure if I would be able to get to The Snow Child (which was for the prompt “shelved during month you joined this group”)- would anyone else be able to do this prompt?

I will see if I can read another one of the books I shelved the month I joined this group.
I can cover the 25+ languages too

No need to apologize, we do have lives outside of reading... :( LOL
I know! Isn't that exciting?!?

I am picking up a children's book this afternoon to read for that prompt.
I'm preparing a comprehensive listing of the remaining prompts and those books we currently have planned, etc. Please check it for accuracy! I am "old school" and much prefer working from a printed listing for such things, but our printer is on the fritz, so bear with me, please! LOL

I will be reading The Magician's Elephant to complete the book added the month you joined.
If Jennifer/Manni both read Little Fires Everywhere as planned, the first one to finish should use it for the 25+ languages.
I'm almost done with the listing. Just double-checking everything...

I don't have anything else published in 2012

All QUARTET PROMPTS/TASKS ARE DONE! 🎈🎈🎈👍👍👍
According to my listing, we have only 4 unassigned prompts as of now. They are indicated below by this phrase:
*****Anyone else who could cover this one?
Please let me know right away if you are listed below and will not be able to complete that specific book. Especially Manni for A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire.
Also, I have not heard from Anu for awhile although she has updated the tracking spreadsheet each day. Just want to be sure these two books listed below are coming along well! :)
COMPREHENSIVE LISTING OF THOSE PROMPTS REMAINING AS OF TODAY:
SOLOS
1) A book read by a teammate for this readathon
Manni and Jennifer were both going to read Little Fires Everywhere and whoever finishes it second will use it for this prompt.
Whoever finishes it first will use it for the next prompt…
2) A book that has been translated into 25+ languages
Either Manni or Jennifer will use Little Fires Everywhere for this one (whoever finishes it first).
3) A book with the word “silver” in the title or silver on the cover
Anu volunteered to read her edition of Catch-22 which has silver on the cover.
DUETS
1) A book starting with “Y”
Theresa thought she might be able to read You'll Never Know, Dear but wasn't sure.
*****Anyone else who could cover this one?
2) A book from a series of 12+ books
I have plenty here that I could read, but I’m almost certain I won’t have time…
*****Anyone else who could cover this one?
3) A book published in 2012 (we need two)
I located a shorter one that I own and will read Blue Asylum for this prompt, but we’ll need one more…
*****Anyone else who could cover this one?
4) A book with at least 25,000 ratings on Goodreads
Listed on the PLANNING spreadsheet and not yet used elsewhere, completed, or confirmed for another prompt:
A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire (Manni) This was not on your April 3rd listing you posted, so not sure if you’re still planning to read it or not…And it’s fine if not! You are contributing so much! 😊
*****Anyone else who could cover this one?
TRIOS
1) A book I wish to read at age 25
Manni is evidently our only member under 25 and they’re planning to use The Four Winds!
2) A book I read at 25
I am rereading Oliver's Story for this one. (I think I am liking it better the second time around!)
3) A book by an author who has published 25+ books
b>Anu volunteered to read The Case of the Fiery Fingers
4) A book added to your TBR listing during the month you joined this group
I am reading The Magician's Elephant for this one. I will be picking it up from my favorite used bookstore today! I am so excited for this one! I love Kate DiCamillo’s writing!

The Four Winds (currently reading): “book I wish to read at 25”
Little Fires Everywhere: This one would be for “read by teammate”, but whoever finishes it first can also use it for “more than 25000 ratings” as Pamela says she can cover the 25+ languages one :)
The Snow Child: I’ll try my best to get to this one and use it for “published in 2012”!

Little Fires Everywhere: This one would be for “read by teammat..."
True.
Thanks for checking everything! I'm just not as sharp as when I was younger!
Pamela, will you be able to cover the translated into 25+ languages?

I'm currently reading book 2 in the series, which we can use for the 4 book series prompt.
'Alyson Noël is the #1 NYT best-selling author of many award-winning and critically acclaimed novels for readers of all ages.
With 9 NYT bestsellers and over 8 million copies in print, her books have been translated into 36 languages, sold in over 200 countries, and have topped the NYT, USA Today, LA Times, Publisher’s Weekly, Wall Street Journal, NCIBA, and Walmart Bestsellers lists, as well as several international bestsellers lists.'
Or am I reading this bio wrong? 🤣

That looks good to me! :)
Thanks so much for your help!!!

Let me know what's needed

We are officially down to just 8 prompts remaining!!! Oh, my goodness! I wasn't sure we could get this close without using any wild cards!! WE ARE SO GOOD AT THIS!!! LOL 🎈🎈🎈😆
Thanks to everyone pitching in, here is where we are now...

2) A book from a series of 12+ books
I have plenty here that I could read, but I’m almost certain I won’t have time…
*****Anyone else who could cover this one?
I discovered a super-short one, Death of a Gossip that I'll do my best to get read!
But if anyone else can do it, that's great! 😉
3) A book published in 2012 (we need two)
I located a shorter one that I own and will read Blue Asylum for this prompt, but we’ll need one more…
*****Anyone else who could cover this one?
I also discovered another one I have on hand and can easily reread, Calico Joe!
But again, if someone else can jump in with this one, just let me/us know, please! 😊
4) A book with at least 25,000 ratings on Goodreads
A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire (Manni) This was not on your April 3rd listing you posted, so not sure if you’re still planning to read it or not…And it’s fine if not! You are contributing so much! 😊

As we all now know, I overlooked the fact that book had already been recorded as a completed prompt! (Yes, I am old... LOL)
Either Manni or Jennifer (whoever finishes reading this one first) can use Little Fires Everywhere to fulfill this one!
TRIOS

Anu volunteered to read The Case of the Fiery Fingers
She has been reading a bunch these past few days so I assume she will also complete this one! 👍😃
4) A book added to your TBR listing during the month you joined this group
I am reading The Magician's Elephant for this one. I will be picking it up from my favorite used bookstore today! (Yes, today TODAY! I had overlooked the fact they are closed on Mondays! LOL) I am so excited for this one! I love Kate DiCamillo’s writing!
Any comments or follow-up? Or corrections?!? 🤪
Back to the books for me! LOL

I've currently got:
The Search by Iris Johansen (Author with 25+ books)
Whisper by Alyson Noel (published in 2012)
The Four Winds by Kristin Hannah (read by a teammate)

Technically, we have the first and last prompts you listed covered. It would be a HUGE help if you could finish reading Whisper and complete a prompt for the published in 2012 task! 😂

Sorry for the delayed response. Was reading away.. :D :D..
I'm done with all the books I had added to the tracker.
Thanks!

That will be such a help! Thank you!

I am starting one of the two books I have remaining tonight. Will plan to finish both of them tomorrow!
I am soooooo excited!!! 😁🎆🎆🎆🎆🎆(those are supposedly fireworks... LOL)

Our stats as of this morning, the last full day of this readathon:
TOTAL PAGES READ = 11,014
In just TWO weeks!
TOTAL AUDIOBOOK HOURS = 87.59
That is a lot for just two weeks!
PROMPTS COMPLETED = 44
PROMPTS REMAINING = 6
We are rockin'!! 🔊Shout it from the rooftops, The Fellowship of the R(ead)ing team is almost there! Without using any wild cards!!
I'll finish my two books, Calico Joe and The Magician's Elephant for two of the remaining 6 prompts.
Reminders for the other four:
1) A book read by a teammate for this readathon
Manni and Jennifer were both going to read Little Fires Everywhere and whoever finishes it second will use it for this prompt.
Whoever finishes it first will use it for the next prompt…
2) A book with at least 25,000 ratings on Goodreads
Either Manni or Jennifer will use Little Fires Everywhere for this one (whoever finishes it first).
3) A book published in 2012
Pamela will use Whisper to complete this one today!
4) I am rereading Calico Joe for the second prompt in this task. I'm glad I am because I think it will be much more meaningful for me this second time... Sometimes the Universe just aligns itself! LOL 😊
5) A book I wish to read at age 25
Manni is evidently our only member under 25 and they’re planning to use The Four Winds for this prompt!
6) A book you shelved during the month you joined this group
I am reading The Magician's Elephant for this one. I started it yesterday and this one may be a bit more serious than other DiCamillo books I've read. But I'm sure it will be a good one!

This event required a lot of work from many of them, I am sure!
I thought it was extremely well organized!
And I would like to thank each of you for your participation! You-all made it happen!

It doesn't matter whether the book you're reading is for the readathon or not. 🙂

Don't worry about it. Tomorrow morning is fine! Besides, we have Any to consider and she is located in India! :)

I particularly appreciated the interconnectedness among the characters and the perpetrator. I thought that was clever!
Way to go, Manni! :)
