Hello,
Just wanted to check in and also inform that I have updated the tracker for the book that I have finished and the one that I am currently reading. Please let me know if there is anything amiss.
Additionally, I am currently reading

Also, Happy Birthday Lynn!
Thanks!

Absolutely no problem, Rebekah! Always here to help! We help each other...that is the point of a "team," IMO! :)
Thanks for clarifying!

If you are totally unfamiliar with spreadsheets and uncomfortable trying to update your information on them. Theresa or I can do so for you...."
Actually, if you click on ALL EDITIONS underneath the cover images for that book, it is listed and you can simply click on SWITCH TO THIS EDITION for your comments/review/rating. Everything will automatically transfer to that edition so you don't have to re-enter anything. That book has been on my TBR forever. I really need to get to it! :)

Since the book The Tutor is a solo and not a quartet please place it with the prompt read a book with 25 chapters or sections instead."
So the prompt for 25 chapters or sections is a solo prompt meaning that we only need one book to fulfill that prompt. You had asked that we list The End of the Age for that prompt, so we can't list another book for that same prompt.
What other prompts might The Tutor fulfill?

This does not fit any of the other solo prompts.
Are there any scenes of two people reading together? Since this is about a "tutor" perhaps that would fit?
It would definitely fit a book by an author who has written for more than 25 years, and a book by an author who has written 25+ books, and a book about making new friends (since the tutor is a new addition to the household).
Would it perhaps fulfill a book with a party or anniversary celebration? Or a book featuring a bibliophile, bookworm, librarian, or bookshop? Perhaps the tutor bibliophile or bookworm, or one of the children is a bookworm, or one of the parents would fit one of these classifications?
For now, I'll list it under the 25+ books prompt. It can always be changed, but I need to list it now to count it for our one-week update! :)

Here is our report:
Week 1
March 25-31
Date: April 1
Pages read: 6178
Hours listened: 47.79
Prompts filled: 23
Wild Cards earned: 9

We have 27 prompts left with 9 wild cards to use, so ideally, we have no more than 16 prompts to fulfill to complete all 50.
However, that does not include the wild cards we'll earn as we read more pages and listen to more hours of audiobooks!
I'll recap those 16 prompts with the books I thought we had pledged to fulfill them (or not) and we can go from there. I hope that works for you-all!
Please read through this listing and inform me if you are NOT going to be able to read the book(s) listed... And, please, it is fine if you have changed your mind and decided not to read one of those listed. Just let me know. We do have enough wild cards to afford us some leniency! :)
I have bolded each team members name as I listed them below so it should be easier for you to find your name and the associated book. :)
SOLO PROMPTS:
A book read by a teammate for this readathon
This was the plan: "If both Manni and Jennifer read Little Fires Everywhere, that will fulfill this first task" MANNI CONFIRMED!
I assume that both of you are still planning to read Little Fires Everywhere. Whoever finishes it last/second should use it to fulfill this first prompt. Jen listed it there on the planning spreadsheet. So Manni will need to determine where else it would fit. As I recall it may fulfill the party/anniversary prompt? But, as you'll see directly below, it should fulfill 25+ languages...
A book which has been translated into 25+ languages CONFIRMED!
Of those listed on the planning sheet, Manni should use Little Fires Everywhere for this one. (Because the other possibility that hasn't already been used is Radiance by Pamela to complete the very last prompt of A book in a 4-book series in the QUARTET section.)
A book written when the author was under 25 years old CONFIRMED!
The only possibility listed for this is The Peculiar by Theresa.
A book with the word 'silver' in the title or with a silver cover CONFIRMED!
Anu listed her version of Catch-22 that has a silver cover and that should be used for this prompt.
This is because SarahKat's A Court of Silver Flames really needs to be used for the "A book I would recommend to my 25-year-old self" prompt in the TRIO section.
A book published in 1996 CONFIRMED!
Pamela's We Were the Mulvaneys is the only one listed. Will you still be able to read this one? If not, I have several I might be able to fit in.

I have bolded each team members name as I listed them below so it should be easier for you to find your name and the associated book. :)
DUET PROMPTS
A book with a scene of 2+ people reading together
Given the title and synopsis of Rebekah's The Tutor, I'm guessing we might be able to use it for this prompt. I am waiting for a reply from her. For now I listed it under the author who has published 25+ books.
A book starting with "Y"
Theresa--You'll Never Know, Dear MAYBE
I need to read Yes No Maybe So in April but I don't even have a copy yet. I own The Yiddish Policemen's Union and The Yellow House but I know I don't have time to read either of them. Anyone with a shorter book to cover this?
A book from a series with 12+ books
Anu listed The Case of the Fiery Fingers for this one.
A book published in 2012 (we need two)
Listed possibilities include:
We need this to complete the 3 books shelved during the month you joined this group.
Wonder by Meghna
The Round House by Jen
We used this for party/celebration. Perhaps move here?
A book with 25,000+ ratings on Goodreads
I've simply held off on fulfilling this since there are 13 possibilities listed on the planning spreadsheet. :)
I'LL CHECK ON THIS IN MORE DETAIL!
The 25th book on your TBR CONFIRMED!
Queen of Hearts is listed by SarahKat on the planning spreadsheet.

That would be great!

Excellent! :)

Oh, now I remember! YES! :)

I have bolded each team members name as I listed them below so it should be easier for you to find your name and the associated book. :)
TRIO PROMPTS
A book you wish to read at age 25
We'll have to rely on Manni since no one else on our team that I know of is under 25 years of age! :) Good thing your spring break is here, huh? :) Will you be reading The Four Winds for this? You had it on the planning spreadsheet along with a question mark. :)
A book you read at age 25
I just dug out my original copy of Oliver's Story which I distinctly remember reading at about age 25. Close enough that I'm counting it! (It has been 40 years ago after all! LOL) I'll plan to read it. It is short and sweet and I'm due to revisit it!
A book you'd recommend to your 25-year-old self CONFIRMED!
A Court of Silver Flames by SarahKat was listed on the planning spreadsheet and would fulfill this!
A book by an author who has written for 25+ years
(I think this is a bit deceptive. Probably should read "an author who has been published for 25+ years. But whatever...)👌
We still need two and there are 8 listed on the planning spreadsheet but only 3 that haven't yet been completed and assigned:
(1) The Secret History and (2) Magpie Murders by me CONFIRMED!
**(3) The Little Drummer Girl by Jen
This one would work better for the next prompt of 25+ books so we'll just use the two I have listed above to finish this task.
A book by an author who has written 25+ books
(Again, probably should read "who has published"... Most authors have written many more books than they've had published!) :)
We have 2 and just need 1 more. There are 10 possibilities listed on the planning spreadsheet, but only 2 of those have not yet been assigned:
(1) The Little Drummer Girl by Jen
**(2) The Snow Child by Manni
This should be used to complete the book shelved in the month you joined this group task directly below.
A book you shelved in the month you joined this group
We have 2 and just need 1 more.
The Snow Child by Manni

I am 2/3 of the way through "The Peculiar," and, as of this exact moment, have about 130 pages left in "Lending A Paw."

I am 2/3 of the way through "The Peculiar," and, as of this exact moment, have about 130 pages left in "Lending A Paw.""
I have confirmed The Peculiar for book written when the author was less than 25 years old.
We could count Lending a Paw for the 2 people reading together prompt and leave The Tutor where it is.
What did you have in mind for You'll Never Know, Dear? Kinda a creepy title! LOL

I have not checked on how many prompts it might fit, but it does start with Y. :)

I have bolded each team members name as I listed them below so it should be easier for you to find your name and the associated book. :)
QUARTET PROMPTS
A book about making new friends
We have 1 and need 3 more. There were 12 listed on the planning spreadsheet and all of them have already been assigned elsewhere. :) Remember how I wasn't at all worried about fulfilling this one? LOL But, if anyone has time to squeeze in a short read that could count, and let's face it, many books can count for this one, we can use them or we can cover with wild cards if necessary...
A book with a party or anniversary celebration
We have 3 and need just 1 more. There were 8 on the planning spreadsheet but of those only 1 is not already assigned/completed:
The Guest List by Manny
A book featuring a bibliophile, bookworm, librarian, or bookshop
We have 3 and just need 1 more. There were 6 listed on the planning spreadsheet, but of those only 1 is not already assigned/completed:
(1) The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by Pamela
A book in a series of 4 (25% of a series)
We have 3 and just need 1 more. There were 5 listed on the planning spreadsheet, but of those only 2 are not already assigned/completed:
(1) Radiance by Pamela
(2) Gathering Blue by ME

So far I am committed to 4 more books.
I am close to finishing The Secret History.
Then I'll need to read Magpie Murders which is fairly long, Gathering Blue, which shouldn't take too long, and Oliver's Story which should read rather quickly.
I think I can get all that read by next Wednesday. I'll try.
Any suggestions regarding wild cards? We can do whatever we want to do with them.
1) We could have each of the nine team members simply use one to replace a book they already have pledged to read for the event.
2) We could ignore them and see if we can fulfill all the prompts without using wild cards.
3) We can wait until Wednesday and just cover any unfulfilled prompts at that time.
4) Or? Any other ideas?

I have not checked on how many prompts it might fit, but it does start with Y. :)"
OMG! I am laughing so hard! At myself, of course! See what I mean about my brain being foggy today?!? As if I shouldn't have realized that immediately! LOL
It does indeed, Theresa!

Hey, Pamela! You are the one who read it, so you are best to determine where it might fit. Go for it! :) I mean, mermaids need friends too, right? :)

I also added more x's on the planning sheet because it would actually fill a bunch of other prompts if it needs moved.

I'm reading The Guest List right now :)

Whoo! Whoo! 🎈🎈🎈 Celebration! :)

Aha! For some reason I thought you meant this week was your Spring Break and I kept wondering why you weren't posting more pages read! LOL 😁
The books you have committed to read will boost us so much more toward that ultimate goal! Thank you!!! And I hope you enjoy all of them.
Anxious to see your reaction to The Guest List!

Well, cool! LOL 😊

I'm mainly posting this so I'll remember to make those changes.
I have started highlighting in yellow on the planning spreadsheet for the remaining books we have designated for specific prompts to help us all! :)
Happy reading!!! 🤓

I will get a lot more time for reading as well. My daughter was in contact with some that tested positive so she will be out of school for at least a week. I in turn was told by my job that I can't return until the 12th due to the fact I was sick for 1 day after my daughters contact with the covid positive person, lol.

Oh, wow. I just heard today that as of April 6th our state, Indiana, will be free of all COVID restrictions...masking, physical distancing, etc. Oh, joy! Now I'm really going to get serious about shopping online as much as possible, etc., 'cause I fully expect the overwhelming majority of people won't take any precautions here... Ugh.

Hope you all have a good weekend. For those who celebrate Easter, happy Easter! For others of us, Happy Weekend! :)

Also, I will probably start another book for my other challenges. I just don't see me finishing a 6th before the read-a-thon is over.
I assume I can count the pages that are read during the read-a-thon, but can not take credit for a completed book.

I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy that one whenever I get to it!
"On chapter 13 of We Were the Mulvaneys :)"
Wow. You are bookin' right along! :)

I assume so, but I'll check the general page later today just to be sure...
I've done other things today and now to read!! Just started Magpie Murders and I'm pretty sure I'll enjoy it! 😃 I love mysteries!

An answer from the Readathon Central thread:
Any book you read during the readathon counts toward your team's overall performance. If your book doesn't fit a prompt, it still counts toward your team's Wild Cards.
So even if we will not finish a book, any pages we read in it or listen to can be recorded and counted for the readathon! :) Cool!

Starting Serpent & Dove now :)

Haha thank you! I’ll try and get more books in if I finish all of these before the end of the challenge :)

That's great, Rebekah! YAY YOU! Since the title isn't linked and there are several books listed as The Tutor in Goodreads, could you tell me the author's name? I must be able to give the correct number of pages per the Goodread listing as well. We really should know which edition it is since page numbers can vary by editions.
I guess if you could just link it through the "add book/author" button above that would be the easiest overall.
As soon as you give me that information I'll include the number of pages as well!
Whoo! Whoo! Movin' right along, fellow Fellowshippers! :)
