The Bone Ships 4 stars

A strong female character, Sea Dragons, and a pirate like atmosphere-all woven together in an incredible story-line. I loved it. It is the first in a series, and I am happy I will be able to return to this world.

This is my first R.J. Barker book, it won't be the last. His talent is obvious from page one as he builds an incredible world, with a grimy dark side, and heroes lurking and waiting to strike back.

Although I never use Audio books, this one tempts me. I wanted someone reading this to me, the excitement and thrills coming through in their voice. With the perfect narrator, and it would be marvelous!

If you are fantasy lover, if world building is important to you, if you love to become attached to the characters in a story, there is no reason for you not to read this.
