Add an author pre pub

Hello Librarians,

Thanks for all your service. Here and in libraries all over the world!
My question is:
I am a debut author. How do I open an author account BEFORE publication. My book is not yet live on amazon and won't be until publication BUT I have an ISBN. The question is not how to get my book up on goodreads.

The question is how to get my author site approved PRIOR to it showing up on amazon. I'm trying to avoid a pre-order. The only benefit for me would be here.

I've checked everywhere for this answer and I am unable to link with amazon until my book is live. I will have arcs going out, and no author page.

Goodreads Librarians are not employees of Goodreads, but volunteers. They have no control over approvals of Goodreads Author status. If you are having a problem with yours, you'll need to use the Contact Us link on the Help page.
