I loved the first book, so I didn't know what to expect with the second. The author did a really good job of tying the two books together, and letting the emotions we had at first continue. Clarity was very frustrating to me at first. To see this poor girl that struggled deeply with eating disorders, but gratefully she had friends that were of help to her. I could hardly stand Gloria, her mother. Could have strangled her myself. Her lack of love for her daughter was awful. Once Clarity started to fit in, and she and her dog became one, I started to like the book quite a lot.
