She clamped her mouth shut turning away to watch something he couldn't see.
Huffing, she said, "We are given a chance to be like Dad, all powerful and omnipotent (?). But at a cost to being detatched from our feelings. One of the reasons why Haley didn't want to grow up. At 16, like all of us, we go to train and get our swords. When we get our swords...." She shook her head. (Keep pressing...this I know will make him angry.)

Healers rushed to get her to a healing chamber.
Biting her lip, she said, "We get the choice to keep our emotional baggage, or we lose it and never feel again. I chose. the best of both worlds."
"What do you mean the best of both worlds?" He really didn't like what she just told him but he tried to keep the emotions inside him suppressed for the time being.
"I kept some of my emotions but left the others out. Like love...anger...hate..."
"But knowing Haley and how upset she was...she's gonna go with losing her emotions."
"Gods.... " He muttered "And this is my fault, isn't it?" He asked helplessly.
"Well..." Seeing the monitor that Haley was ready, she said, "'Scuse a moment."
"Hey Haley how'd go?" Nodding she said, "Well, that's to be expected. Are you sure you want..." Wincing slightly, she said, "Alright, I'll put the coordinates in for Nidavellir"
"Yeah. that was quick. But she was a fast learner. She's going now to Nidavellir to get her sword." Amara was listening the whole time horrified.
He leaned against the wall, "It's all my fault" he muttered. Maybe dad wasn't so wrong after all. Maybe I'm a failure after all. I mess up everything. It's all my fault. he thought bitterly.
"Alex, if anything, you aren't a failure. That's why Haley stuck around for so long." Amara gasped. "She's going there now! Alex what do you want to do?"
He unconsciously shifted into his eight year old form, which was a sort of safety net for him. "What can I possibly do!" He ignored her first comment.
"Stop her before she does something she can't come back from?"
Sighing, she pulled out a note saying, "I wasn't supposed to give this to you but..." She shoved it in his hand. "Whatever happens, I didn't help you."
He stared at it in surprise for a split second before opened it and read it.
Alex, I wanted you to know that you had meant everything to me...but seeing you with Amara I just couldn't take it anymore. I loved you forever and I wish I told you sooner. But I guess you made your choice. I'm going to complete my training and...well I just hope you're happy. Haley
(The dwarf is making her sword.)
Back at the hospital when he had been talking to Amara, he had found out that one of her parents was his father's cousin. Making the two of them cousins in a way. The two had bonded over that. And had became good friends extremely fast. ((Tell me if ur not fine with this. I can delete/edit it))"What is she- what is she talking about? What choice?!" He said. Alex re-read one line again and again, 'I love you forever and wish I told you sooner', his heart skipped a beat. He was either dreaming or he was going crazy. Neither seemed that far fetched right now.

He cursed colourfully before standing up and shifting into his sixteen-year-old form, "I need to get there. And fast." He muttered
Tarina's sword was nearby. Grabbing it, Amara hefted it into the holder turning the Bifrost on. "Tarina left it on Nidavellir." The Bifrost turned on.
"I might need some help. You coming?" He asked as he stepped into the Bifrost
Biting her lip, she followed inside. (Nidavellir, almost finished.)
