I just finished Part 1 Chapter 4 and I'm confused, to say the least, but I've invested in the story already, which is a good sign.

I'm only on like chapter 10? I really like it so far. I didn't really connect with Addie(yet) and i GET IT SHE HAS STAR SHAPED FRECKLES GOSH DAMMIT. I enjoy reading about her past and how everything came to be. Hbu Divya? How far in the book are you? Did you meet henry cz I've been waiting on it but it's soo slow paced:'(

I just finished chapter 15 and it's getting better!! I agree, the story is pretty slow right now, but it's picking up pace. I honestly don't know how I feel about Addie because she seems like two completely different people in the two different time periods, but of course she changed over time and learned to live with the curse thingy so it would make sense for her to be different. And I don't think I've met Henry yet.

I'm 35% into the book (part 2 chapter 12) and I am very confused as to where this book is going. Why can Henry remember her? Did he make a deal with "Luc" aka the darkness too? Also, Addie just talked about her and Luc being enemies but tbh i lowkey ship them idk why but it seems like enemies to lovers. Btw I went into this book completely blind so whatever I'm saying is just thoughts and not actually based off anything lmao

noooo‍ i hate spoilers:'(. I heard you DNF'd this book, I'm sorry you didn't like it. Also I'm on chapter 13 right now(it's going slow, I'm reading 3 books atm) and i haven't met Henry yet, but yes, THIS BOOK IS SO SLOW PACED. Not to mention it really lacks dialogue, I'm constantly just reading about Addies inner thoughts, like girl, you're not that interesting stfu.

Luc seems..okay? I'm still not sure what he is? Some kind dark god or devil i think(I'm Christian, so i don't like that lol, but he seems sarcastic so i love that) ALSO THE KISS I LOVED THAT. So far my favorite is James, i think that's his name(the one who turned out to be gay, it was quite a funny twist lmao)

Yeah the story just wasn't going anywhere so I stopped reading it :/
Don't worry, you'll meet Henry very soon hehe and yeah I ship Luc and Addie tbh, they just have that chemistry idk (enemies to lovers maybe?) but thay isn't a spoiler because I don't know if they are even a thing. I liked James haha

IKR like literally nothing is happening. It's all just about Addie ad her thoughts, but like she isn't that interesting to begin with soo...

Enemies to lovers would be cool(although we know that's not happening) and i was talking about how you spoiled yourself something about Henry, so dw lol. I will read it just bc of the ending, i wanna see why it's so sad
