Aside from our BOTM, is anyone reading anything else?

In keeping with the group theme, I am reading The Girl No One Liked by Lawrence Ambrose, which on the surface has an odd title and concept (a girl has a weird smell/aura/something that repulses people and makes them antagonistic towards her), but it is turning out to be a very good sci-fi book involving an ancient pre-human intelligent eusocial civilization, lots of genetic and other biological science, great characterization and dialogue and good story. I'm about half done.

It's from the author who the internet mocked some years back for this cover:

I'm glad to find that he is, in fact, a serious writer, and his covers have greatly improved.

wow, that does sound good. I'm read the ARC of book #4 in A Fairy Awesome Series. Fairy, Fairy, Quite Contrary It's by Ellie Aiden. It's a really great series so far.

My wife and I are reading Fairy, Fairy, Quite Contrary together right now. It's pretty good so far, but I'm thinking it might not be as good as the first 3.

That's funny. I just finished The Fairiest Fairy of Them All I really love the series so far. I love, Love, Love, Ellie Aiden style of writing.
