Hope its OK that I'm adding a question.

Any speculation on what the "Elven Problem" Piscary referred to is? Why were Trent and Rachel's fathers working together and why did this scare Piscary into killing them?

First, I was hoping you'd add questions.

There was a lot that Piscary said (and the demon) that gave me pause. All roads seem to lead back to their parents. We know Trent is an elf but we don't know what Rachel's father was so that's the mystery part of the equation. I have a feeling Trent knows what he's talking about and explains his behavior.
