Mariana | 2692 comments I also read chapters 1 and 2.

I am glad I read book 1 first. I'm coming in with a little background on the hero.

Excellent! I should start it this week.

I suddenly got approved for a bunch of ARCs a couple of weeks ago where most release in May. I had 8, with 6 publishing in end of April/May, so I needed to knock a couple of those out before getting started on this month’s list. I am not sure when I will ever learn on over-requesting! However, as soon as I am done with this one I will start one this and the Lerner read.

Hi Petra, I do think it helps if you can but it should work either way.

Petra | 142 comments Thank you Joanna I’m going to give number 1 in series a go. Sounds like something I will like.

I plan to start this one tonight!

message 21: by Mariana (new)

Mariana | 2692 comments I finished and quite liked this story, though not as much as book 1.

Darbella, I agree with all your comments. With Armand's lack of experience with society, women, etc., his reactions were raw. He was very sensitive. I think the connection these two had through music and touch allowed a very fulfilling first time for both of them.

I definitely plan to finish out the trilogy.

I like how Armand’s situation allows for those instinctual / natural reactions. It’s a fun change of pace.

Mariana | 2692 comments Yes, agreed.

Mamacita aka MawMaw (mamawantsbedtimestory) | 417 comments Is anyone gonna read the next one? I probably will.

Get me some pirate action...

message 25: by Petra (new)

Petra | 142 comments Started reading it and I’m already enjoying. I like wounded hero.

message 26: by Mariana (new)

Mariana | 2692 comments Yes. I just started last night. It's good so far, but the tone is completely different than the first two books!
