I first heard about this book in a book review in my local newspaper. There used to be a book section in my newspaper. And we had a book editor! This was back in the old days of 2009. The review was reprinted from the Times, but it caught my eye. It's a good read. I got some others to read it with me around 2016, and they liked it too. 😊 Covers modern Jewish history from Moses Mendelssohn's day up until just before WWII. I'm gratified to find my local library now has it; wasn't the case before. This book has stood the test of a decade's worth of time!
