TART Challenge - Round 3 - Rainbow Dash (2)

Sorry for delay everyone. Looong week for me and it’s only Wednesday evening. Chaos of the week is over now though so time to focus on reading! 😊

Task 10 - 90. Each member reads a book published in sequential months, i.e. June, July, August and September 2019. Teams decide which months. No pass for this task.
Books selected for this task need to be published in sequential months. The months can cross over from the end of one year to the beginning of the next. You will be using the initial publication date for this task. If there is a date at the top of the editions page, use it. Otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the selected dates in your completion posts.

I will take april 2021 if that is the case!

Task 11 - 66. Read over 1000 pages in books with Mystery or Suspense as MPG.
Books selected for this task need to have 'Mystery' or 'Suspense' as a Main Page Genre. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.

Yay, time for some mysteries! Luckily I have quite a few lined up to read this month already. I’ll start with Murder on the Rocks. Only 266 pages but then I can start another right after I finish it if we still need more pages. I think Michaele has us covered with 600+ pages though so we shouldn’t have to double up on books for this task 😂

Thank you Michaele for the long book. That makes it easier for all of us 😃 . I will see if anything suits from what I have lined up this week

I don't know how authors can keep up that kind of pace writing books!

Review : I had read the first book in this series last year and somehow missed getting this one at that time.
It was good going back to Brian and Nick; to see how they are coping together and Brian putting his Finding ability to use. As expected there are plenty of complications ahead for them; the cops and Damon. And I was also glad to see Bry sort of eradicated. Kaje has done a good job unravelling all the threads to finally get a sanctuary for Brian.
A good series with all the good things- action, romance, memorable MCs and paranormal stuff.

I am sorry to say I havent read this author at all , even though he is in my TBR. Its because very few of his books are available in KU....I guess should give him a try sometime then.

Review: This was quite an enjoyable mystery that had me fairly stumped on who the murderer was. I had multiple theories at different points but things kept spinning in different directions. Not much of a romance plot line but the character is openly gay, he’s just not focusing on romance during the timeline of this book. He does have someone who is interested in having a relationship with him but he’s too focused on his current case to focus on any type of relationship.
