Whitni Baker | 2 comments Hi! I finished this book earlier this week and it left me we feeling like there should have been more. I found the experiment details and information he shared incredibly interesting but by the time we circled back round to our first story, he simply seemed to stop the book. There were so many good points made though about our own assumptions we make about people and how even the best of the best can lie and seem so real. How we can think we can interpret people's facial expressions or their body language but culturally, we are very different people and they can and do mean different things. Just as we got back around to what could have been a good racial discussion, it stopped. The cop was asked at the end of she had been white, would he have acted differently and he thought he might. Such a great jump off point but the book was over. So while there were some very good parts of the book, I ultimately felt disappointed in the ending. What did you all think?
