I have written the first 3 chapters of a comedy/redemption story that hopes to suck you in with a happy-go-lucky protagonist who, due to a series of comedic events, hits rock bottom.
I has been heavily-edited so it should be a free-flowing, entertaining read (so I hope) without lengthy descriptions. The goal is to make you laugh but also actually ‘feel’ the tension that the protagonist feels when faced with the uncomfortable situations he finds himself in.
I would like to swap with someone who enjoys ‘comedy with meaning’ and does not mind adult themes. I am happy to swap just the first chapter or even first scene to see if we are a ‘fit’.
My preferred genres are redemption/coming of age, comedy, romance but anything that keeps me turning the page really.
