What can I tell you that I haven't already included in my bio?
Hmm... let's see... For one, I've always loved the fantasy genre. I remember reading Dragonlance for the first time. A friend introduced me to this series when I was around twelve years old or so. From there on, I was hooked.
Later on, I started reading Anne Rice, and was so intrigued by how she created an entire origin story for the vampire race. I just love immersive fantasy.
Lord of the Rings is a classic of course, although I hate to admit it, but I gave up on Wheel of Time about six books into the series. The pace was just too slow for my taste. Sorry.
Fantasy maps is another passion of mine.
In fact, I wrote a book on the topic. That's how crazy I am about the topic. I just love when picking up a new fantasy novel and you find a map within the first few pages. It makes the world so much more immersive.
The fantasy genre is, like none other, able to transport our minds to a different place and time. When that happens, it's very difficult to stop reading.
Nowadays, I write stories together with Autumn Birt. All set in the amazing world of Ylécium.
We have lots, and lots, of stories to tell, so join this group, and follow along if you too love immersive fantasy.
