Looks like Olivia and Sharp are going to be a thing. Can this relationship work given their opposing careers?

I think their relationship has a good chance of working as long as they respect each others jobs. Olivia can't take information that she got from Sharp and write about it. But I think she is smart enough not to do something like that.

[Jonetta]

I’m hopeful for them as they seem to respect and like each other. I’d like to know more about her, though. Sharp’s going to need to be a bit more aggressive in setting boundaries when they’re working together. He’s more experienced.

There is the potential for an excellent romance here. Unfortunately, it is completely underdeveloped.

I need to have a refresher on Sharp's long-ago loss.

I do hope that he and Olivia become quite the item in the upcoming stories.

Sharp got divorced and his loss was his partner who was killed during a store robbery. He then fell for his partner’s wife who took off not long after he kissed her. Do you recall the recent story where he helped clear her daughter of murder?

I like Sharp and Olivia as a couple. Unfortunately, is there is only one book left, I don't see a resolution to their relationship. Maybe they will be in a future series.
