Is that ok? I dinnae remember much about this book, except that I thought it was really good so fingers crossed. I'm really eager to finish the series!

I'd just like to quickly remind you all that Dr Erland literally told Cinder that he just wore glasses for the aesthetic

as someone who's basically as blind as a bat without glasses or contacts, I'm not a fan of people wearing glasses just so that they can look pretty.
like I'm sorry.
I grew up getting called 'Four Eyes' etc. and had loads of glasses jokes made at me.
so it feels really weird for those same people to wear glasses for the AeStHeTiC.....

HANG ON I HAVE A QUESTION: Is this buddyread going to include Stars Above? Some people count it as part of the series as opposed to an extra so I was just wondering

not sure. we ended up reading acofas and that's technically a novella.
we might do. i think it depends on how many of us want to as well. i don't mind.

I could probably plow through cinder by Monday, are you planning to start Scarlet right afterwards?

We haven't really decided when we were going to read the rest of the series - I already own Scarlet, but I don't own Cress or Winter, and I don't think Zaynab owns any of them. So I don't think it would be right afterwards - or is that going to be a problem?
(I'm literally the most indecisive person in the world. We have like a whole list of books to buddy read in each month, but the problem is, we forgot to factor in for sequels and everything haha. So we're just trying to fit them in when we can because everything's a chaotic mess)
