The heroine is taken by the hero's father (i think) and he(H) helps her escape. Years later he looks for her, finds her, and i remember one particular scene (at the beginning) he finds where she lives (she lives alone) and her neighbor looks at him weirdly. At the climax, heroine gets kidnapped and is taken to a fair, to a ferris wheel; hero comes and saves her again. Just in case, it's not Girl, Stolen.
