message 31004: by fish (new)

fish (haitangs) | 5799 comments you should go to storygraph — manage account — import goodreads library — then you can find how to import from there so that you wouldn't have to wait for too long

and you were right!
yes i did, i was very touched by it and the fact that the author let their personal experience influence the story gave it an even more emotional light i think

B | 16445 comments @aazra

A Game of Thrones (the sexism is a lot in this though)
The Priory of the Orange Tree (SAPPHIC)
Realm Breaker (good world and villian romance, but drags a lot so i didn't like it)
The Gilded Wolves (READ THIS ASAP. don't read the audiobook, bad narration and the pronunciation is messed up)
Among the Beasts & Briars (this is a standalone and its really good)
Star Daughter (mc is Indian)
Caraval (i'm not sure if you will like this)
The City of Brass (i think this is an Arab fantasy though ot sure how accurate the rep is)
A Darker Shade of Magic (this gets worse after book 1)
The Raven Boys (i hated this series but you might like it!)
Magic Forged (this is more light fantasy and very underrated, one of my favs though the first 30% can be a bit annying but it gets a looot better)
Aru Shah and the End of Time (also has Indian rep!)
The False Prince (THIS DESERVES MORE LOVE. I've only read book 1 so far though)
Legendborn (i did not like it but i think you'll love it)
The Kiss of Deception (not a personal fan)
The Darkest Part of the Forest (this was really good)
To Kill a Kingdom (ENEMIES TO LOVERS DONE RIGHT also the audiobook is supreme)
Children of Blood and Bone (this was unique? but the insta-love got on my nerves)

do you want more recs? 👀
