i just finished And I Darken! since you wanted to hear my thoughts: i enjoyed it a lot. it's really good historical fiction, i loved Lada and the end was my favourite part. however, i have to criticise the age of the characters (for about the first 200 pages they are still 13 or younger, then there's a time jump and they are like 17 i think which is fine then) and the at times sheer dumbness of some other characters who are supposed to be powerful leaders
