you see, a few days ago, i asked her to ban me from Tumblr cause I was using it too much. so currently i am banned from tumblr on penalty of getting my nook deleted and getting kicked out of the midnight readers

Finished it now, was pretty ok. Kinda disappointed as I expected something more, but it was good for a standalone.

unpopular opinion but i hate it when books are like super hyped because then i have these extremely high expectations which the books can rarely live up to and consequently i am disappointed haha

tbh it might be. depends on how much time you can and want to spend on writing reviews. i think you should definitely focus on the reviews you really want to write first and leave out the others. and when you have some more time and feel like writing those, then do it :)

That is a good idea! I think more than reviewing the book, I feel stressed about getting a long detailed review out. I love doing it, but I literally don’t have time as now my college is started and I’m just busy. Each review takes me roughly 2 hours, sometimes longer.

oh yeah i understand that! but you know, review writing should never stress you out, it's a fun hobby and if it gets too much just put it aside :)
also, you definitely don't disappoint people with short reviews! of course your long reviews are absolutely fantastic and i love to read them, but at the same time i don't expect you to do that for every single book (and even if people would, you shouldn't care!). i mean 2 hours is a very long time...
