i read the book and i did enjoy it. i guess it is different from the other sjm books, however, her writing style is definitely recognisable. if i were you, i'd give it a try unless you absolutely don't like the sjm writing style. i think in comparison to acotar and tog it starts out way more interesting and i liked the plot a lot more than the one of the first acotar book. it is also emotionally deeper in my opinion.
