Ahh I loved the trilogy!!! I haven’t read the new one though and I haven’t heard many good things about it. But I didn’t like the love triangle... and I have one very unpopular opinion but pls don’t attack me....... I ship Katniss with Gale...

I loved this series! This was my first read in dystopian and I remember finishing all 3 books in 2 days time.
I loved Kathiss as a character, but I adore Peeta. I found him to be very relatable, but I see why others don’t love him as much. I could relate to him because we’re similar personality wise.
As for Gale, I don’t have any opinion on him. He’s just fine.

I actually picked the book up only because my younger sister had been assigned to read it for school (lucky her!), we were in the car and I needed something to keep me occupied... It was sooo good I was hooked... as soon as I finished the first book I got my hands on the other 2 and read them asap! The deaths were honestly so sad (Finnick and Prim 😥)... Ik I might be in the minority saying this, but I think Katniss and Gale are a better couple... Don't get me wrong, I love Peeta and he's a really really nice guy - which is why I'm saying this... I feel that Katniss and Gale were so alike and had so much history together, they were meant for each other... Katniss almost doesn't really deserve someone as kind and selfless as Peeta... Pls don't attack me lol

Yes yes I won’t attack u Hannah, I agree with everything u said, I have nothing against Peeta as well and I also think one of the reasons I ship Katniss with Gale is that I just lovee the friends to lovers trope, which sadly is not that common.

I absolutely love this trilogy. I want to read the prequel, but I'm hearing a lot of bad things about it.
I love Katniss, she's such an amazing character. I ship her with herself, because she's so strong and independent, that doesn't need someone else. But if I have to choose between Peeta and Gale, I choose Peeta. He's overall a better person than Gale, and he has the warmth, peace and love that Katniss needs in her life.
