Kathy Golden | 99 comments A while back someone told about a way to have books available in Overdrive show up on the book's page of an Amazon or Goodreads search. Does anyone remember or know how to do this?

Yes, I had it for the longest time, but I updated something, and I don't see it anymore. I hope someone will share it again.

SassafrasfromAmazon | 3 comments Kathy. Are you having trouble borrowing the book, having it show up on Amazon and your Kindle or appearing on your goodreads page? If you’ve already read the book, just search on Goodreads and put it back on your shelf as read. Let me know if this isn’t the issue. Let me know.

Thanks for your suggestion. No, I wasn't having trouble with that. What I had was an extension of some kind that whenever I visited a book's page, either on Amazon or Goodreads, if the book were available on Overdrive, a link would show up right on the page, and all I had to do was click on the link and I'd be taken to Overdrive. The alternative, of course, was to copy the name of the book and go and search for it on Overdrive. But with this link, I didn't need to do that.

SassafrasfromAmazon | 3 comments Kathy, There was a giant overhaul of Overdrive last year or 2019. You have to download the Overdrive app. Find your Library, enter your info. It now turns into the “Digital Library of (Insert State). The only link to Amazon and then Goodreads is if you borrow the book from Overdrive. I hope that helps. There are help sections once you download the app.
