Hello everyone!
Since our group has been growing rapidly, more and more people are buddy reading books. We really appreciate your love and support and just wanted to post a few rules and reminders for everyone. This is to endure buddy reads are running smoothly, and to avoid folders from clogging.
1. Please don't make threads on your own. Once you have found a reading buddy, request a mod to make a thread for you here, in the format specified. We mods will accordingly put it in the Buddy Reads-Upcoming folder, or the Buddy Reads- Currently Going On folder.

Start date- (can be temporary/permanent)
Anyone is free to join the buddy reads they are interested in. :)
2. If you feel your thread is in the wrong folder, or if there is an error in something, please don't hesitate to let us know! We mods also make mistakes too sometimes.
3. If you are reading a series, or multiple books by the same author, please use the same thread! Let us know each time you start a new book, we will update the name of the thread and the book.
4. If you plan on reading several books with the same buddy or buddies, then you can ask us to make a common thread. For example, 'X & Y's BR's'. This makes it convenient for mods and members and you don't have to keep requesting threads for each book.
5. Please don't request threads before finding a reading buddy. You need to have at least one buddy to read a book with. If you've requested a thread and your buddy has dropped out, let us know the updated date of the buddy read so we can put it in folders accordingly. You can also choose to have your thread deleted.
7. When your buddy read is over, please let us know here- https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
You can choose if you would like your thread to be closed and moved to the 'finished buddy reads' folder, or have it be deleted.

So what is a Buddy Read?
A Buddy Read is when you are interested in reading a book that another person has and is interested in reading as well. You talk a bit in the discussion 'Buddy Reads Requests' and once you have decided that you would like to read with one another I make you your own discussion thread where you can discuss the book that you guys have chosen to read. It can be just between two people, a trio, or even a group dependent on how many people want to read and discuss the same book together!
