I get that, I finished 5 other books since starting The Lightning Thief. It is slow in the beginning, but I finally reached the part where things really start to happen.

I'm currently reading Traitors Blade (fantasy with a musketeer vibe) and Queen of Song and Souls- 4th book in C.L. Wilson's Tairen Soul series. (The covers are seriously terrible, a classic "don't judge a book by it's cover," situation but, the world building, epic fantasy, and romance I AM HERE FOR! 100% recommend reading the summaries for these books if you enjoy fae fantasy. The 1st book is Lord of the Fading Lands.) Happy reading!
