Let’s write a story!
Brooke wrote: "There was only a small light that wasn't very useful."
Eliana pulled her little sister close. Wanting to disappear.

"Don't worry," she whispered, the sound so quiet it barely skimmed her sister's ear. "It'll be alright."It was a lie, and they both knew it.

She closed her eyes, humming the familiar tune and forcing her magic to work.
Disappear. She whispered.
But it didn’t work, it never did.

But it didn’t work, it never did.
The door whipped open and they were both pulled to their feet, still desperately clinging to each other as they looked up into the angry eyes of their father.

Eliana tried to calm herself. “Being angry only makes things worse,”she whispered to no one in particular.
She yawned and quickly got off her bed, putting her slippers on. Momentarily, she forgot what happened last night.
She suddenly became very anxious. All of these memories come crashing like a tidal wave - every single night.
The glass shattered but she could still see her reflection in the cracked mirror.
She stared into her own dull, grey eyes. Her mother had eyes like these. That was before the accident.
She disposed of the broken glass and made her way into the kitchen. The accident was nearly a year ago.
Ella was her little sister. All her mother had asked her to do was take care of her little sister and she couldn't do that.
Her life didn’t matter now, she’d failed her purpose. That’s why she’d taken up the job inspite of knowing the risk.
When their mother disappeared from their lives, Eliana became Ella's mother - not because they didn't have a mother anymore but because she felt an indescribable need to protect poor little Ella from their brute of a father.
Father.
He wasn’t really her father was he? His job was to keep them safe. Keep them away from all of this. But he didn’t.

In the cracks in the ceiling, she could see the sharp creases of Ella's face. Ella had a lot of their father in her face while Eliana had a lot of their mother in her face - the same cloudy grey eyes.
She looked again at the pile of broken shards, wishing she could pile the pieces of her broken heart as easily as she had the mirror. How could she put herself back together if her heart was scattered in places she could never again reach, much less find?
Eliana suddenly jumped from her bed. There is still time to fix everything , she thought to herself, I have to fix everything .

Here someone needs to start a story by saying a sentence or two and the next person continues. That way we’re writing a story together.
(You can write anything but don’t be offensive to anyone and try not to swear)
