Well, it would help if I actually read ALL the words... 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

😂
Just to clarify, I clicked Romance, then Contemporary Romance so now I need to pick a book from 'Most Read this Week'? If so, can I also click 'More most read this week...' - If so I found what I want to read :)

You can keep clicking on the far right genre lists, but then you select a book or author from any book seen on the final page - you don't click on the "most read this week" or "more most read this week" hyperlinks.
So Browse > Explore > Romance (Genres list) > Contemporary Romance (Related Genres list) and then further eg Sports Romance if you like.
Once on the final page generated by the Genre list, you then select a book or author on THAT page. You don't click further into the hyperlinks on that page. So whatever book you can see on that page or their authors is how you select your book.
There are a heap of books if you keep scrolling down - eg 6 different lists with previews of 5 books each, Contemporary Romance Books, New Releases by Authors You've Read etc.
You just can't move OFF that page to pick a book or author.
Gotcha! Thank you for the clarification :)

Sorry MM I missed this! I thought I was completely up to date here...

Hope a good safe time was had by all!

Wow! Happy Birthday to your dad - 90 is definitely worth celebrating!

Now Skye’s back in town after nearly a decade. "
Just need to be sure that she hasn't already arrived. Must travel back in the book...

I *think* so? It just needs to be that an MC travels to another location - so assuming that is the case, yes.
It wouldn't work if it simply refers to an MC who works in the travel industry but doesn't move from their town throughout the book...

However, it's a horrible precis on Goodreads that just says "digs up mysteries in the shadows of the pyramids". (Curse you, one sentence precis!) If we are allowed to use the Amazon Precis, I could expand on it.
I can for sure find something more obvious though, if that doesn't work. (And while I'm here, I just want to say I think the prompts this round are so perfect for the times.)

Suzanne it counts - it’s tagged as travel on page 1 of the shelves tagged by 6 people 😀

As Hazel said - with a tag of travel, it will work :)

Hi Navi - there are only a few weeks left on this round :) Next round will open in later August!

Haha - hope you find the tag Shelby!

"
Great - I'll keep an eye out for it!

Ok so here's my question...would a Location Setting of California with a tag of "other worlds" work combined to show that there is travel?

Hi Shelby - no, not really... No other options?

Nope. Not that I found. But I gave up after being about 8pgs deep into tags. It's fine. You know me I read fast enough I'll find something else and use that. :)

I think that's the best solution :)

See, already done. I want to read the next book in the In Death series, but I'm missing one of the half series books. And luckily it's got a page count listed at 100pgs and multiple locations in the description. So it's an easy one I can just squeeze in and then happily move on to the book I need to read for another challenge. :)
EDIT: UGH! Of course I go and read this one and while the setting may say it's in two places it of course essentially only takes place off planet on the resort. I refuse to skirt the edge of the system! Somehow I will end up defeating this challenge with a book already planned on my TBR somewhere!

Would this book count? The hero is from space -
Maggie works in Enquiries at DETI (The Department of Extra-Terrestrial Immigration) and they're a little under-staffed. She's confused but grateful when a handful of Teissian refugees fresh off the spaceship are allocated to her department. She is put in charge of training Ro, a charming, scaled alien with a sexy voice, cute dimples, and a lot of secrets.
She knows office romances are a bad idea, but she just can't resist after spending every day sitting opposite him. As the two get closer, however, questions arise that threaten their relationship. Why does his friend seem to hate her so much? What is he hiding about his life on his home planet?

Thanks

Hi Tink - not necessarily since it doesn't show if they (Ro and friends) travel within the book's pages.
Is there a tag in the shelves that will work?

OMG - you are having a bad trot!!

Trickery
Blurb: "At least her outer village is far removed from the cities of the sols, and she won’t ever be forced to present herself to them... Until one small mistake changes everything, and Willa is awarded a position to serve at Blesswood, the top sol academy in the world—a position that she definitely did not earn."
Thank you!

It sounds like it possibly does qualify but I’d like to see a more definite shelf...

No luck with the tags! I have selected another book that works for Option 2, thank you!
