((your good))Tristan nods and kisses her forehead.
She smiles at the kiss. She sits in a chair near the taller bookshelf and grabs a book.
Tristan gets a book as well.
"Do you like it here? In the castle I mean." Dahlia asks
"yeah," he says. "Why?"
"Just wondering." She says unconvincingly.
"Tell me," he asks her.
"Well, being here can be kind of tiresome. And we don't know how long you're going to need to stay here-" She begins rambling.
Tristan stops her, "It's okay."
"But what if you are a slave here forever?" She asks nervously.
"Then I'll run away," he says. "Anything to be with you."
Dahlia blushes slightly. "But where would we go?" Dahlia asks
"Anywhere," he decides.
"But they'll find us." She says
"No they wont. And," he says. "We're not running away yet."
"But what about the queen? She practically raised me. Isn't it sort of like betraying her?" Dahlia asks
Tristan smiles sadly. "If I ever have to run away, I'll come to you. But you don't have to. I just want you to be happy."
"I can only be happy when I'm with you." She responds. "Ugh. That sounded mushy. Sorry about that."
Tristan kisses her softly. "I don't mind."
Dahlia smiles and kisses him back. "Thank you."
Tristan smiles at her, caressing her cheek.
"How are you so good at this romance thing?" She asks
Tristam kisses her forehead. "I"m not. I just love you."
"Now that was mushy." She jokes.
"I know," he says, grinning.
She kisses him and says, "You're cute you know that?"
"Am I?" he asks happily.
"Very." She says. "What about me? Am I cute?" she asks jokingly.
"You," he says. "Are beautiful."
"Really?" She asks, not believing it.
"Of course," he says.
"More than positive" Tristan insists.
"I don't believe you." She says, taunting him.
Tristan kisses her deeply, not giving her chance to even breathe or blink. He pulls away after a while. "What about now?" he whispers.
"I believe you." She says out of breath. She smiles at him.
"Good," he tells her.
"It's fun to taunt you." She says happily
"And it's fun when you get flustered," he counters.
"Fair enough. But I definitely have more fun when I taunt you." She counters.
"Oh, I wouldn't go that far," He whispers into her ear.
"Oh really? You just kissed me because I taunted you. What have you gotten out of me being flustered?" She whispers back
"You. Just being cute. So I think I got it better," He answers sweetly.
"Ohhhh you're good." She says.
Tristan smiles at her. "I try."
Dahlia kisses him. "There. Now we're even."
"I guess we are," he grins.
Dahlia kisses him again and sits down with a book.
