Yessss exactly!! lol The book im reading rn is an instalove, and they literally met/talked/saw each other 3 short times and now love each other sooo much, and im like what??? Where did the love come from?

yes omg the smut in enemies to lovers is unrivaled (intentional pun lol). friends to lovers is good for when you want to read fluff and pining, enemies to lovers is when you want something spicy

I get the age gaps thing but I don't mind them too much if it's like 4 years or so. It matters less when the characters are older I guess. Once I read a book with a potential relationship with a 20-something-year-old and a 40-year-old. I really would have hopped off a hill if they ended up together.

I hate when a character is just a jerk to literally everyone and then the protagonist is like "I can change them" and then their personality and characterization does a 180 and now they're so kind and sweet. Let the jerk characters be jerks PLEASE!

I think there aren't any "worst" troupe, but rather bad ejecution, so many people doesn't like "love triangles" but then they're like OMG! I found this book and even tough that has this troupe I love it, and it has happened for me, I don't like a couple of things but sometimes I read books that has that troupe and I love them
