I'm glad it's over - the weather is getting better and it shows in my pages for the last two days! :)

My Dearest Darling,

7127 miles across the sea and still I cannot see your beloved visage. We made excellent time right up until the very end. The coastline of our home within view and naturally of course a huge storm preventing us from navigating the bay. You could probably hear my dramatic sighs all the way from our drawing room. The crew pointedly told me that they could all hear them, so I am sure you could too. We had to circle round to Pelican's Point on the northside to wait out the storm. Imagine me Darling, laying on my stomach on my bunk like a dejected dog. Such torture, to know that at this moment I could be home with you and instead of in your loving arms, I am instead trapped in the smallest cabin of a ship that cannot get in to shore.

All of which is to say that we expect to dock tomorrow around 10 am, and I shall run off the gangplank and straight into traffic if you are not there to greet me.

Suffering from the worst case of impatience,
Your Most Devoted Lepidopterist
