Hello! I am active on Goodreads 6-7 days a week
I would love to be a member, I dont know why someone would just want the title *cue eye roll.
I am 13 years old and would love to be a mod because I have never been one before and would love to know what it is like as well as make new friends and expand the group. Some of my intrests are social justice, theater,singing and playing softball.

1. Why do you want to be a moderator of this group?I want to be a moderator of this group because this was one of the first groups i was part of. I believe I joined in May, and since then I have made so many amazing friends because of the group and it has even inspired me to create my own. I love how friendly and supportive the mods and members are. It would be an absolute honour to work with you all. I really do love this group so much. Also, I absolutely love leadership roles. I feel like they bring out the best in me.
2. What new ideas will you bring to the group?
Ahhh I have so many! Bookish debates, buddy read challenges, new games, daily polls and so much more.

I really don’t mind. I would prefer buddy reads or games!

Yes! I’m a moderator in several groups now: The Daylight Readers, Book Buddies, The Book Lovers Haven, Activists of YA, Chapter Addicts and The Overbooked Society. Some of the other mods in these groups are also members or mods in this one, too.

Even before you said this, I think I got the reason. I already mentioned this to the other mods, they have yet to reply. I honestly think both of you guys would make great mods! If you could resend you previous mod app with and edits you want to make, the mods can reconsider and talk about this possibility!

1. Why do you want to be a moderator of this group?I've been a part of the group for quite a while, since March, and I've met some wonderful people here! I want to give back to the group, in this case by becoming a mod and helping out. I also want to get some experience of what it's like to be a moderator in a group, as I'm considering creating my own but want to see if I am up for the task. Also, this year in school I've been chosen as a Senior Library Prefect, and I want to be able to transfer and share ideas between my role at school and the group.
2. What new ideas will you bring to the group?
I have quite a few ideas, and here are some:
- have a sort of debate of the week - it could be about charcters, books authors etc. and by keeping it to a week it could mean more people get involved
- with BOTMs, do more to give people an incentive to read them, for example have quizzes on the book, or debates about it etc. (side note - perhaps every second month we should take fantasy out of the option for BOTM, as I feel that a lot of the time that's the genre that gets voted the most, meaning that there's less variety in the BOTMs)
- have a thread for specific recommendations, where people can ask for/recommend super specific books/books with those tropes

I don't really mind, but preferably buddy reads or challenges.

People say I act mature. I mean, people have also said that they thought I was older to them or they forget I’m so young. I love it when you said that. It is indeed ridiculous.
1. Why do you want to be a moderator of this group?It's simple, I want to be a moderator for this group because I have come to care so deeply for this group. I have been here since February and this group never ceases to amaze me, I was once a moderator but those privileges were taken from me, and over time I realized why. I never took into account how wonderful and amazing this place was and ever since then I have given this group my all. I could lie or go on about how much I want to be a mod but the truth is simple. I love this group and over time I have realized this group means so much to me from the people to the fun times. This group is amazing and it is a place, I love and cherish Lastly, The never-ending TBR is just pure amazement, and watching it grow and thrive has been amazing to watch, and once again I would be thrilled and honored to watch it grow even more. I could go on and. BOY DO I WISH I COULD!!! But I would be taking your time and I do not want that.

I have a lot!!!
But a few ideas are.
- Discussions that will increase more inclusion and maybe more activeness with the members
- TOTM( which means talk of the month and it means talking about very important world issues that we should focus on and help increase awareness too.)
I also feel like we should bring debates and topics about our world to this group.

I won’t go into the detail of my history with the group.. but one fact remains. I love the group. This group has grown so fast. I believe it was created in February? Well, I think, as a mod, I can give a lot more to this group than I ever could as a member. As a member, I have been active, given suggestions, and overall tried my best to keep it alive. I’ve invited everybody I can. It’s about two people because the rest all are already in. This brings me to my second point. I made a lot of friends in this group. Friends are one of the best things I’ve gotten from here and I’d love to give others the same happiness I live in. As a mod, I could make the community better, engage everybody in topics, and in the end, make it a safer, happier place for everybody. Though one thing I want to add before I move on- I do suddenly get busy. I can be on almost all morning but the evenings are a real pain for me to come online.
2. What new ideas will you bring to the group?
I can’t say for sure but ideas fall like a waterfall when my creative juices start flowing. Challenges is one thing. I suggested a challenge and a lot of people loved it. Discussion topics, poll ideas, games etc. I’m not picky with ideas. I can’t promise I’ll have all these ideas because I’m not sure myself. But I do know that I can give a lot.

I’m most comfortable with challenges though polls work as well. So does discussion topics. I really can’t do BOTM or games well enough.

I’ve been a moderator in quite a few groups. The daylight readers is a highlight. I think I do pretty well (help me, Bonnie!). As for my past mod experiences, I admit they didn’t go too well. But I’ve learnt from them and moved on past my mistakes.

i like the sense of responsibility. it just makes me feel...important? in a way. and idk i think that me being a mod would convince me to be more active (as if i don't live on goodreads jhaskdfhkjdhj)

i could find some new, not as well known books for botms and stuff. i'm also a really creative person at like 3 am, so if we wanted to do debates or something like that, i could help with that. but i've been told that i bring "good energy along with me", which is laughable, but i use it to my advantage lol.

honestly i'm open to anything. as long as i know what i'm doing and it doesn't need the effort of a 10 page paper, i'm cool with it.

i'm a moderator in another group (the book mochis) and i'm the readathon moderator. it's not the most important thing i could do, but a mod is a mod, no matter what the moderate. i'm also the games moderator in the girls, the gays, and the theys group.
