Lore and Fallen
Kyra smiled and nodded. She hovered in the air. Nick chased after Echo, slowly getting closer to her.
Nick gave up on trying to chase her after seeing her dive toward the ground. He soared up into a cloud. Kyra smiled and flew around in lazy circles.
Nick could still see through the cloud and saw Echo. He smiled and dove down after her. Kyra stopped and hovered in one spot, looking around. She had a faint smile on her face.
Nick closed his wings to get to the lake quicker. He opened them just before hitting the surface of the water. He hovered above the water, his smile gone. "Echo?" He called out softly, scanning the water for a sign of her. Kyra looked down at the lake. Something didn't seem right to her and she flew down closer to the water.
Kyra hovered near the edge of the lake. Nick flew over to where the water shot into the hair.
"You alright?" Nick asked her, flying close to her. Kyra stayed where she was, watching.
Nick sighed, relieved. "It's really not nice to- wait.." He paused, hearing her talk. "You have an accent." He smiled brightly. Kyra stayed still, watching.
Kyra stared off at some point in space. She had zoned out and didn't notice anything around her. Nick smiled. "Why would you hide an Amazing accent like that?" He asked, hovering close to her.
Nick smiled brightly seeing her blush. "Well I think it's awesome and you shouldn't hide it cause nobody here is going to make fun of it.." Kyra was almost completely still, her only movement was her gently flapping her wings and her chest rising and falling as she breathed.
Kyra was still for another minute or so. She shook her head, suddenly coming back to the real world. She looked around before flying back toward the caveNick smiled gently at her.
Nick smiled. He quickly kissed her cheek and flew off higher into the sky. Kyra landed on the edge of the cave. She closed her wings and watched the sky. She smiled slightly, seeing Dante.
Kyra watched the others fly, smiling slightly. Nick flew quickly, trying to stay a little ways away from Echo. He flew through a cloud, smiling brightly.
Nick flew all over, trying to keep Echo from being able to catch him. Kyra sat down on the edge of the cave. She bit her lower lip, thinking.
Kyra smiled slightly, seeing Dante fly. Nick suddenly stopped and whirled around, hoping to catch her.
Nick smiled. "Caught you." He hovered right in front of her. Kyra smiled gently at him.
Kyra looked up at him, smiling softly. She stayed sitting on the edge of the cliff. Nick smiled brightly, seeing her blush. "You're cute when you blush." He said softly.
Nick smiled. He looked around, waiting for Echo to reappear. Kyra blushed a deep red and looked down. She didn't know what to say but she finally murmured, "thank you... You're very handsome...."
Kyra stayed looking down. Her hair fell in front of her still red face. Nick sighed softly. "Echo, you're invisible again.." He said softly, smiling slightly.
"But I want to see your beautiful face.." Nick whined. Kyra kept her head down, her face almost completely hidden by her hair
Kyra turned her head to look at him. Her face was still a deep red. "...Sorry.." She said softly, just above a whisper. Nick smiled brightly, seeing her face again. "That's much better.."
Nick smiled and poked her. "Catch me if you can." He suddenly flew away from her quickly. Kyra smiled shyly at him. She was really trying not to retreat into her own world where she felt safe.
She tensed for a moment, surprised before kissing him back timidly. She pulled away blushing a deep red again. Kyra didn't trust her voice so she nodded to answer his question. Nick flew quickly, trying to stay ahead of her.
"No, you're not!" Nick flew down into the trees. He wove through them. Kyra shook her head no. She wrote in the dirt that covered the floor of the cave, 'No. You aren't.'
Kyra nodded, her dark hair covering her face. Nick quickly wove through the trees, narrowly missing some.
Nick smiled brightly, moving quickly through the trees. Kyra tensed slightly but let Dante hug her.
Kyra slowly relaxed, letting him hold her.Nick quickly turned and went in a different direction. He didn't look back behind him to see if Echo was still following.
Nick glanced around him as he flew. He didn't notice that Echo was no longer following him. Kyra bit her lower lip, smiling slightly.
Kyra smiled shyly back at him. Nick didn't see Echo until it was too late. "Okay. You got me.." He muttered after she tackled him.
"Good for you." He smiled at her. She let him hold her, smiling faintly.
Kyra smiled slightly before pulling away. She stood up and offered him a hand to stand up. She wanted to keep flying.Nick smiled. He thought about kissing her but decided against it, for now at least.
"I can fly on my own, you do know that, right?" Nick asked. Kyra smiled and jumped off the edge of the cave, opening her wings.
Kyra quickly flew off, smiling. Nick moved so he was flying next to her. He tapped her wing with his wing.
"Would you like me to fall?" Nick asks her. He closes his wings and free-falls toward the ground.Kyra smiled as she dove down into the trees. She skillfully wove through them.
Nick opened his wings a little too late. He crashed into Dante. He recovered from the impact and hovered next to Dante. "Sorry, you alright?" He smiled sheepishly. Kyra kept flying, rising above the trees. She flew over to Nick, Dante and Echo.
Nick smiled, hovering in the air. Kyra stayed hovering high above them, watching.
Kyra stayed hovering above them. She watched Echo hug Nick and smiled.Nick hugged her back.
Nick kissed her back gently, before pulling away a moment later. Kyra smiled and flew away from them. She stayed high up in the air.
Kyra kept flying, smiling faintly. Nick smiled gently at her. "It's okay."
Nick smiled at her. Kyra soared up high into the sky, before closing her wings. She free fell toward the ground.
Kyra smiled. She opened her wings just before she hit the ground. "You are cute when you blush." Nick told her.
Kyra hovered in the air for a moment before landing on the ground. She was smiling brightly.Nick smiled at her. "What now?" He asked.
"Well, you must know of something you want to do." Nick replied. Kyra smiled. "That was fun."
"Fine." Nick sighed. Kyra opened her wings and flew up toward the clouds again.
She kept flying. Nick smiled at her. He hovered in the air above her.
Nick smiled down at her. Kyra flew quickly. She was smiling brightly.
Kyra flew over Nick and Echo. She swooped down and whispered something in Nick's ear before flying away again. Nick smiled at Echo. He listened to his sister. "Wait, what?" He shouted after her, looking up.
Nick smiled and shook her his head. He looked back at Echo. "She said that Dante likes her and that he kissed her." He shrugged. Kyra talked to him a lot about little stuff like that and he didn't mind. Kyra kept flying. She thought about Nick's reaction to what she had said.
Kyra stopped and let him hug her. Nick nodded. "Yeah." He smiled.
Kyra hovered in the air, watching her brother. She smiled, having fun with her brother, Dante and Echo.
