Ali | 66 comments Hello everyone - happy Saturday!

I've not had a great couple of days in terms of getting any reading done. I've been mad busy at work and also had a job interview yesterday!! I'm really lucky that a lot of my work I can listen to audiobooks or podcasts while doing it no problems, but the last couple of days have not involved those kinds of tasks.

I've not decided what to get stuck into today - hopefully something that can count for a prompt - I only do library so will need to see what I have available that can fit!

I finished Siege and Storm this morning but I don't think it fits any of the remaining prompts.

Such a good series! Maybe the prompt "three books featuring a theme of friendship"?

Alison | 76 comments Hi All, Happy Saturday!! It looks like we are doing awesome and are in the "home stretch":)
I finished 3 books for the following prompts:
Jar of Hearts for the second "book with hearts on the cover"

A Touch of Stone and Snow for "enemies to lovers"

Catering to Nobody which I put under "roommates who are not romantically involved"

Ali | 66 comments I've read the (albeit short) Women & Power: A Manifesto which I've decided is an inspiring title!!

I've got 2 books well in progress that I'm hoping I can finish before the end of the readathon. I'm feeling very restrained as my hold on The Kingdom of Copper has just come in and I've managed to resist picking it up now as I 100% cannot finish that tomorrow....

Karissa | 440 comments I finished Leave the World Behind which I put in as the second book whose title starts with L. I'm really hoping to finish reading my other two books tonight/tomorrow. Good luck to everyone on our last day!

Fee | 233 comments Sunday, our last day, started. I couldn’t hardly find time to read these last three days. I still hope to finish one more book by today. It’s so nice weather here in Switzerland. We can already sit on the Terrasse :) that helps

Deborah | 348 comments I just finished Beatrice and Benedick and I loved it! It is a mixture of a prequel and re-telling of Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing". Therefore, I placed it under the prompt A Book Related to Shakespeare. I am now reading King of the Wind by Marguerite Henry. I will have that book finished by the time I go to bed on Sunday.

Good idea! I added it to that prompt :)

Meghan Chiasson | 74 comments We have far more Wild Cards than we do prompts remaining, so we are already winners!! I hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday and enjoys the last day of the read-a-thon!

Deborah | 348 comments I finished King of the Wind by Marguerite Henry. I placed it under the Prompt: "book that makes you feel warm and fuzzy". Hope everyone else's Sundays are going well! Happy final day of reading!

I've finished Heir of Fire but I don't think it fits with any of our remaining prompts

Karissa | 440 comments Congrats team on winning! I just finished reading Tender Is the Flesh which was a very out there book and didn't really fit with any of the prompts anyways. I'm still hoping to finish one more book today. Read-a-thons are always great motivators to help me finish up books!

message 64: by Ali (new)

Ali | 66 comments Fab! Well done everyone!! I'm going to knock out a few more chapters of The Count of Monte Cristo which is my project for the first half of the year. I'm really pleased about being able to get loads of my library loans read this week! No guilty returning un/half-read books this week at least....

Laurel Kristick | 874 comments Just finished The English Wife but can't see how it fits into the remaining prompts. So I just added it to the page count

Kelly Brown | 371 comments We won?! Yay! I updated my totals and added my physical book that I finished the other night. I won't finish anything else tonight. It was a great week!
