Yesterday I listened to 5 hours of audio and read 180 pages. I finished The Best of Adam Sharp and added it as the third book for the books that span 10 years. I also finished The Duke and I and added it as the first if the two books needed for a book with two people on the cover. Feel free to move them if you need to.

I would recommend it for anyone who likes more character-driven, emotional/reflective stories, and I did like the diverse perspective and representation. We don't have power back but the internet is back and hooked up to the generator.I put in 2 hours for my audio today. Hoping to complete I Let You Go tonight. Only 30 pages or so left in it.
I read 192 pages today. I finished Nick and put it as one of the three books where a romantic love story is not featured. I am going back to work tomorrow after two weeks off so I don’t know how much I will get read tomorrow. Only saving grace is that I am working remotely so no commute.

Can we change one of the wild cards that I think we used for a book where the character moves to a new home? Can we move it to the prompt that is a book with "one" in the title? In I Let You Go the main character moves to a new place in the beginning.

Joan wrote: "Can we change one of the wild cards that I think we used for a book where the character moves to a new home? Can we move it to the prompt that is a book with "one" in the title?"It's not a wild card - it was Inside Out & Back Again which is all about the experience of immigrating to the USA. But it's about a kid, so I could move it to the different life stages prompt.

Oh gotcha. It's up to you. I'm just trying to see where we need a book to fill a slot.

I finished Falstaff which I intended for Shakespeare but which also fits for an elderly character. Next book is Such a Fun Age. I don’t know where it will fit but I can’t have any more ebooks from the library until I’ve returned it.
Can I please go down for 258 pages on Monday? Thanks.
Are the prompts supposed to repeat at the end?I thought each person put the books in going across........or are we doing one up and down per person?

I've updated the spreadsheet for you. We have the least options for the Shakespeare prompt so I've slotted it in there but I can move it if you want?
Joi wrote: "Are the prompts supposed to repeat at the end?I thought each person put the books in going across........or are we doing one up and down per person?"
There are a different number of books required for each prompt, which is why some of them repeat. The first section is one book each, the second section is two, the third is three and the last one if four.
On the tracking page, the columns down show who read the book (I think your name is towards the end) and the rows across are which prompt. The green ones are complete and the white ones are still needed.
On the planning page, you can see what everyone is reading and which prompts they potentially work for.
Hope that explains it :)

Yes. Thank you so much. I just put some books in, but the boxes didn't turn green. Can you please make sure I did everything correctly?
I’m planning to collect Sweet Sorrow from the library tomorrow which could be the second Shakespeare book.

Good morning Orchids! My reading has slowed down a bit but hopefully will got one of my two done tomorrow. I'm listening to Call Me By Your Name coming of age or two people? and reading The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven.

The boxes don't turn green automatically - you have to click on the row and then fill with 'light green 2'. Or wait for someone else to notice and do it
I just finished A Stranger in Town and I used it for a book where the mc has a pet - but it does feature an elderly character and I think someone mentioned they had an orange cover with fallen leaves so it could match that.

I’ve finished Such a Fun Age. Not sure where to put it. It’s a debut but there is quite an important goldfish in it so maybe it could go with the characters who own pets. Also, if Postmortem was ok to move to the books that contain the letter P, that would free up a space for a book written by a woman.I read 612 pages today.

Hi team. It got really busy at work Monday and Tuesday, and I had to work some overtime. I managed to listen to some audiobook and read some pages, but I have not finished anything yet. I updated the spreadsheet with my numbers. I hope I will finish Defending the Galaxy today.

I have library delay. Does anyone else have a book with the word one in the title planned? If not I could start Number One Chinese Restaurant (despite the reviews!)

Joyce wrote: "I have library delay. Does anyone else have a book with the word one in the title planned? If not I could start Number One Chinese Restaurant (despite the reviews!)"I can move One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest up my TBR.
Joyce wrote: "I have library delay. Does anyone else have a book with the word one in the title planned? So I left the “one in the title” prompt to others but finished A Kind of Magic which counts for “warm and fuzzy” and have started The Future Won't Be Long which I think features two flat mates without romantic involvement.

Wow I've let the team down today. A sunny mild day after cabin fever is to blame. I'll do better tomorrow :)

It has been a rough couple of days at work so I have not been able read too much. Hoping for more reading time tomorrow.

Well, I picked up Before the Coffee Gets Cold just to see and couldn't put it down, even though it left me in tears. I haven't decide what to use it for yet.

I finished reading One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest today morning. I updated the spreadsheet before I got to work today. I am going to update my Goodreads to match when I get home. I put it under under a book with the word one in the title, but feel free to move it if it fits better somewhere else.

I have 264 pages for Wednesday.I do think Such a Fun Age could move to the “owns a pet” prompt. It’s not the protagonist, but one of the leading characters is given a goldfish which leads to a realisation that helps to further the plot. This frees up “written by a woman” which is a bit of a freebie.
P.S. I know what you mean about cabin fever Perri. I went for a walk in the rain yesterday just for the sake of getting outside.

I agree, and moved it to the pet prompt. That gives us one more open freebie prompt :)
I finished The Sun Also Rises yesterday, and marked it down for the self care prompt, where the self care activity in this case was a fishing trip. I would personally love to go on a fishing trip right now, instead of working 12 hours a day.

I was thinking, Before the Coffee Gets Cold is about time travel, so would that work for the travel book?

And Before the Coffee Gets Cold is a *very* Japanese book so, unless you live there, you’ve travelled in your head to a different culture.

I’ve finished Sweet Sorrow which gives us the second Shakespeare prompt.I have 416 pages for Thursday if someone would be kind enough to enter them for me.
Joyce wrote: "I’ve finished Sweet Sorrow which gives us the second Shakespeare prompt.I have 416 pages for Thursday if someone would be kind enough to enter them for me."
I entered it for you. 28 prompts completed, and 11 Wild Cards, so we only need 18 more books. Go Team.
Hi team! I finished Mørketid today, and added it for the "Three books featuring protagonists at different stages of life", where the main protagonist in this case is in his late 40's. Of course it can be moved if needed.
For instance, it has a blue cover - does anyone else happen to read a book with a blue cover? There isn't any descriptions of the covers in the planning tab for most of the books we are currently reading.

I finished Heartbreaker for the enemy turns into lover trope. I haven't read that type in a long time, and it was fun to revisit the genre. That roommate without being lovers is awfully specific. Any ideas on that one? I'm reading a Brene Brown book which is warm and fuzzy. But feel like I'm running out of time!

I finished Nobody But You and I used it for the fresh starts prompt. That means we are now at 34 completed prompts and 13 Wild Cards, so we only need 10 more books finished or extra wild cards. We can do it!
