5.8 - Monty Python's Flying Circus

When Monty Python's Flying Circus first reached the TV screen in October 1969, filling a former religious slot, late on Sunday night, it was understandably met with some bemusement. But with 45 episodes airing over four series from 1969 to 1974, it quickly acquired a fervent global following and genuine cult status.

Teri-K I feel like I've seen my question addressed before but I couldn't spot it in the rules or FAQs. If a collection of books is on a list we have to read from, can I read one of the books only - if it otherwise fits the SRC rules?

For instance, the collection of Anne of Green Gables books is on this list. Could I read any one of the books that qualifies?

Thanks!

No, sorry. Here's the FAQ section you're looking for:
2. If a task requires me to read a book on a list, do I have to read the exact format or edition that’s on the list? For the Group Reads books, do I have to read the exact format or edition linked in the task?
No. When you have to read a book from a list, or for a Group Reads, you can read any format (audiobook, ebook, paperback, hardback) and any edition you choose. If the entry on a list is a box set, you cannot substitute an individual book from the set, and if the book on the list is in a series, you cannot substitute a different book in the series. If a short story appears on the list, you may not substitute a collection that includes the story.

Thank you so much. I read all of those twice and somehow didn't see it. Guess I'm too tired to function. lol

It's OK, there are lots of choices, I just saw several sets that interested me. Thank you again.
