Finished: (view spoiler)[I was NOT expecting this but this was wayyy better than what I had in mind. I felt sad about Wendy’s brother and the way they were killed was just heartbreaking. I am glad that atleast Wendy remembered what had happened and now the killer could be punished. Jordan and Wendy’s friendship was GOALS! (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 1-2 (view spoiler)[The start and the premise of this book sound so interesting. This is my first time reading a Peter Pan retelling so I hope it doesn't disappoint, although I heard some people say the pace will start getting slower as the book goes on but I hope they're wrong since everything is so good up until now. Chapters: 1-3 (first off, I'm slowly reading this, I've gotten behind on my buddy reads and have been super busy)

I am always down for a retelling of Peter Pan. (view spoiler)[ The only part so far that has shocked me was when it was revealed that her brothers and her had been missing for 6 MONTHS. I thought like they had went into the woods and were found a day or two later. (hide spoiler)]

Don't worry Carrie! I'm also behind on my buddy reads and didn't have much time to read this. I've read the 2 first chapters a few days ago and didn't keep going ever since. I'll try picking it up again today if I have enough time but so far I'm really loving it!

I did finish this. I love a retailing of Peter Pan but this one kinda lack a little bit for me. It may be that I had a rough month and I'm prepping for a major surgery tomorrow and I had a hard time concentrating. (view spoiler)[ The main thing I did like about this book was the relationship between Peter Pan and Wendy. The tree kinda threw me for a loop, not sure how I feel about that tree. I also don't recall any mention of Capitan Hook and you can't have Peter Pan with out Capitan Hook. I was also broken hearted when the truth about John and Michael was brought to light. How so extremely sad. This was okay, not one of my favs (hide spoiler)]
