Got this book at Christmas and just starting to read it. What are your thoughts about it?

I like Nicholas Sparks. I have read all his books. This is not my favorite, but it is a really good story and has some unpredictable twists and turns. It is well worth the read.
The main character is ex-military, which is not unusual for Sparks. And , of course, it takes place in North Carolina. Have you read other Sparks books?

Yes, Although I have not read anything in a while, I have read most Nicholas Sparks' books. I liked them all! However, I found myself switching between genres at the time because the plots seemed to get predictable.

I read about one a year. Right now I am ready Obama’s book. I mostly read historical fiction.
